Proving yet again that the X3 soundfont is not as bad as some may think, this cover of a pretty good game track shows the potential of how good this particular soundfont can be. Kudos for the cover.
This is why I subscribed. Awesome work. So, for your next creation... maybe a MM8 style remix of Mega Man 3's third Wily Stage theme? The one that plays in the last stage? That song has only been remixed by like two people on the entire internet. 🤔
Goddamnit man, your X3 covers are so freaking authentic it hurts. The instrumentation, the non usage of pitchbends/portamentos/vibrato, heck, even the cymbals you got right (since for some reason everyone uses the X2 cymbals, and it kinda irks me due to the X1 cymbals being used WAY more, while the X2 ones were used in I think Doppler Stage 1, and that's one of the very few times it was actually used)! You definitely have one of my favorite MMX covers out of all the MMX arrangers here, to be honest. Also, I always wanted to try out OpenMPT to make actual SPC music, but I'm not really sure if SNESMOD is gonna help on that tbh. Would you know of any better methods for something like this? Dont wanna bother you tho, so you dont have to answer if you dont want to. lol
well damn, this sure is a old comment lol now that I've managed to learn how to use AMK, my SNES covers have pretty much gotten a much needed boost, since AMK's not nearly as limited to use as SNESGSS; also tempo glitch's pretty much gone, so yay carry on folks
@@FCEngine Right. Only in the localization. There's a bit of a roundabout reference to this in Scott Pilgrim. A character whose first name is Ken in the graphic novel got renamed Kevin in the video game adaptation. Plus, Final Fight was called Street Fighter '89 early on.
There's a few problems with this remix. The first part of the harmony seems cut short, the background in the main chorus isn't as strong, and it just feels unfinished. For an MMX song this is good work, but as a remix to the original, it just missed what made the original so amazing.

The X3 soundfont is possibly my favorite soundfont.
A little love for Street Fighter 2010 - never thought I'd see the day...
Might as well be Mega Man X9's intro stage!
Awesome! It's great to see somebody giving that little-known title some love!
I have to presume Dr. Ken is none other than Ken Masters.
More 2010: SF covers please!
This music is so fantastic!

Street Fighter 2010 is a platformer that only has one character from steeet fighter in it.
McNagah That's what 🇺🇸Capcom USA🇺🇸 wants you to believe.

Actually this game is NOTHING like Street Fighter, nope
What do you mean? Every Street Fighter game is a sidescrolling shooter where you fight aliens.
Well...Ken is in it...or rather a guy in a space suit named Ken...
His real name is Kevin Striker in the japanese version.
