condor44 is a japanese post-rock-influenced indie rock band currently signed by Daizawa Records. The band was formed in 1999 by guitarist/vocalist Hiroshi Sasaki and drummer Nobuyuki Ajima who met while attending college. They began experimenting that summer as a twosome. September of that year, Chikako Ishida was added to the line-up on bass, rounding out the trio. They gigged around Tokyo before recording their first demo in 2000. They released EP Hush & Vane February of 2001 followed by their first full album, 00203, under the Daizawa label that Spring. Their next full album, db, released Spring 2002, marked the beginnings of a cleaner, more minimalistic sound. Four years later they released the long-awaited Goodbye 44th Music which met with positive acclaim.

Ended up getting hit right in the feelings at 6am from a 17 year old video. What a find Then I started thinking. What was I doing 17 years ago on the day this was posted. It was a different time back then. To start, I was 17 turning 18 in November and had yet to quit school. My dad retired from the Marines a couple years before and we had moved up to Ohio from NC so I had only been in my new house for a couple years. Honestly was having a hard time adjusting from living the military life to civilian life. Didn't have a lot of friends and the few I did associate with were really shitty. Kinda wish I didn't talk to them at all really. Left school after turning 18 that year and been working ever since. Been a lot of ups and downs since then. If I'm being honest, mostly downs but this are stable now. Just wish I had worked harder towards my goals but that's life I guess. They really don't make music like this anymore.
What an absolute pleasure to listen to. Sometimes a song just has that same vibe as a childhood memory and you get that pang of nostalgia which hits you right in the chest. It's like an ache that both hurts and inspires you.

Idk what it is with the algo recently but I’ve been seeing more videos made 15+ years ago but I’m ALL FOR IT. So many hidden gems !
I noticed that myself over the past couple of months. I can only imagine the algorithm is appealing to nostalgia. Or its making up for past mistakes. Who knows.
Ts beautiful, can't believe I'm seeing this 17 years later.
I've been listening to Goodbye 44th Music for a while now, grateful to see them get recommended to everyone from the algorithm!

This song is absolutely beautiful. And I just saw this on my algorithm feed. My word. 17 years after it aired on TH-cam. What a time capsule!!

良い
Getting a music video recomended that's as old as myself is such a surreal moment.

This song made me feel free and light. I can't believe her for 17 years. Sounds so fresh, it's maddening
This could easily fit into the end credits of silent hill 2 remake
1:26 i love when he sings.
Listening to this sounds so special and im shedding tears, this is the best song I've ever heard. The guitar, the drums, the bass, their voices, the mv, everything about this feels so beautiful & lovely. Tysm youtube for showing this to me and introducing me to amazing music whenever I need them the most :"D
the algorithm ate with reccomending this one... now would be one of the rare times where I'll be really happy if one of those people commented who comment paragraph worth of biography about a band/artist.
My backstory is that I got reccomended this during August of this year and I had a magical time just being awake during the blue hours of 4 - 5 AM while listening to this song through my earbuds.
são exatamente 4 da manhã e o youtube me recomenda essa pedrada, muito bom.
