Great video. I bought this printer recently and I've printed 90 photos so far, mainly pics from my holiday to America last month. I'm very impressed with the printer. I bought 2 Instax Wide photo albums with each one holiday 80 shots. I've had the mini printer (both SP-1 and SP-2) and longed for a Wide format printer so was so happy Fujifilm finally made one.

Really appreciated this video! Thanks for doing such a thoughtful deep-dive on this printer. Covered a lot of things other reviewers glossed over. Thank you!

Great video, thanks for sharing. I received the Instax Link Wide for my birthday and I love it so far. Takes out the guess work that comes with shooting with an Instax camera and all of the variables that contribute to great and not so great photos. I love the fact that what you see on your phone is what you get when it's printed.

Great present! Enjoy your Instax! I agree, I love the fact that the results are more predictable with the Instax Link, so no waste of film, but it still allows you to play around and experiment to get different results if you want. :)

Great video. Thank you for all the information and opinions. Are your Instax photos printed in "Rich Mode" or "Natural Mode"? Have you tried both?

I tried both, and I always prefer to print on natural mode. I think it’s more of a personal preference. The natural mode looks closer to the original file, and I like to do my editing beforehand on editing apps. So the final print looks pretty much the way I like. With rich mode, it boosts the saturation and contrast for you. You have less control, but the result sometimes is nice. It’s a trial and error process to get it right, but I enjoy it 😀

Thanks for the video! Curious to know if you've tried the pricier monochrome film? Thanks.

Not yet! They are practically impossible to find here in Italy. Out of stock everywhere! But I’ll probably get my hands in a pack soon! Have you tried them?

Hello, the Instax printer and its application will be compatible with Iphone??

Absolutely! It’s compatible with both IOS and Android. I use it on the iPhone, and the app is excellent! I never had any issues with it :)

Is that comfortable to mini film?

Hi Leafa Leaf, if you’re asking me if the Instax Mini film is compatible with this printer the answer is unfortunately no. They have another printer called Instax Mini Link which uses the Instax Mini film. The model I reviewed (Instax Link Wide) uses the larger wide film only. It would be great if they had one printer that accepted all film sizes 😉

I have 60 sheets of Instax wide prints. But lost my 300 camera. So maybe this printer with my iPhone will be a better idea.

Ohh, sorry to hear that, I love the 300! With the printer, there's never a bad picture and you can always capture the moment with your phone and print it later. The downside is you can't emulate the whole nostalgic feeling of shooting with a camera and whatever it captures is what you end up with. So, it will depend on what you're looking for in instant photos. Cheers!
