  • Sanchit & Surbhi talk about their life in Montreal - how they found jobs, cost of living & importance of french in the province of Quebec!
We also talk about Surbhi's experience of coming to Canada on tourist visa, then applying for an open work permit and eventually putting an application for spousal sponsorship.

We don't like immigration agents - the ones' that aren't authorized by ICCRC and qualified to help you with your application in exchange for money - first of all, it's not legal to do that, and second of all, it's so easy that you don't really need paid help! We are a young couple who started their Canadian Immigration journey in 2018 and moved to Canada 3 days before the pandemic hit in March 2020. Over the course of our application, we have seen so many people getting screwed over by greedy / fraudulent and unauthorized immigration consultants who promise you the world in exchange for thousands of dollars and deliver a whole lot of NOTHING; to an extent that in many cases, the applications get rejected, due to their negligence.
Therefore, we are taking matters in our own hands. After months of research and our own experience of applying for a Canadian PR, we came up with an e-book series & this TH-cam channel which would include - errors to avoid, perfect sample documents (my own) and alternate ways of immigrating to Canada - 100 pages of absolute goldmine between these 3 e-books - no filters, no premium versions to these ebooks... everything is out there FOR FREE, for you to read and execute the process yourself! All we are doing in these ebooks is sharing our experience of applying for PR ourselves / structuring and pointing you in the right direction via various different resources that are available on IRCC's official website. The TH-cam channel will compliment the e-book and add some personality and entertainment to the entire process :-)

3 1/2 is 1 bedroom apartment by the way and yeah housing is cheaper in Montreal. Apartments are not that spacious on the island and they are old. I am paying 1400$ for a 3 1/2 off the island of Montreal ( 10-15 mins drive from downtown) but it's a brand new construction , over 750 sqft with patio and a beautiful garden , the rent has everything included in it( not a single penny on top of this ) - electric , gas , heating , internet-bell 1.5 gbps , indoor heated parking , extra locked storage in garage ( if you exclude all amenities this would be around 1000$ ). . My friends in Toronto can't even think of getting rent like this 15 mins away from downtown. Some other differences - My auto insurance here in Montreal is like 90$ for a SUV and I have heard it's way higher in Toronto, Metro pass monthly is around 85$ here in Montreal and I think it's twice that in Toronto, Gas is a little expensive here compared to Ontario. For me approach of coming here to Montreal was totally different on LMIA exempt work permit and it took me overall 14 business days to get the worker visa and work permit from US for myself along with open work permit for my spouse. Now I am trying to see if there's a way for me to get the PR here.

We would love to share many things like job opportunity, life style, cost of living, taxes, etc to the future immigrants.Feel free to contact, if you plan to make a video specifically for living in Montreal.

@@rajratt The rules for student visa is all same across Canada. To know more visit: www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/study-canada.html.
The one thing which is different for international students is when he apply for PR in Quebec he has to give a test of French language. To be very precise once a student compleates his studies,he get work permit to work in Quebec but when he apply for PR from work permit he has to give a French language test.(Government provide the same facilities/benefits which a PR holder gets to learn French and to those who studied in Quebec and wants to get a PR) This is the main reason most of the students who studies in Montreal move to other province so that he/she can escape from the requirement of learning French.

This is my true story of a horrific experience that happened to me on renting apartments in Montreal, i had to look for a new apartment to rent due to having to leave my apartment i was at due to fire damages that was caused by another tentant in apartment complex, anyhow i soon there after found a new apartment, this new apartment was renting for $1100.00 it had just been renovated and really nice and clean, however my horrific experience was just about to get much worse, just at the time the covid19 outbreak came around i was settling into my new apartment and really happy i had found a new place,so i thought...i soon began feeling very sick in this apartment and i kept trying to figure out why i was feeling this way, well to cut my true story short,i found out after 5 months and becoming really sick that there were drug dealers who had set up a crystal meth lab in an apartment agent to my mine and the fumes from cooking making this crystal meth drug had been seeping into my apartment and getting me very sick, still today i have lingering horriffic symptoms do to the meth poisoning, i have seen doctors and explained to them about my bad experience,i have persistance symptoms of lung problems, sinuses and bad headackes,i found out the chemical these drug dealers were using to make cook this crystal meth was called Ether,Ether is a mix of sulfuric acid and alcohol along with other very toxic dangerous chemicals, however the Ether chemical mix has a very deceiving sweet smell not a bad smell which makes it deceiving to the sense of smell leaving you thinking how wounderful the air smells around one, also very hard to detect in the air because it blends well with other smells if you`ve rented apartments before you know you will have all kinds of new smells around, how i found out there was a crystal meth lab next to my apartment is a long story,by that time i had found out i had been poisoned really bad, but what was just as bad as getting poisoned sick is that when meth contamination seeps into apartments, everything becomes contaminated,i mean everything, from cloths to furniture,tv ,bed, ect ect to the smallest objects, everything nothing escapes,i couldn`t take anything with me due to meth residue contamination, meth lab residue spores are really bad, they will linger in everything for years and continue making one very sick, it is very very hard to wash or get rid of,i had to dispose of everything i had, thousands of dollars lost, all my belongings,it was horrible so horrible, the land lord of the building had no idea this was going on and only later to find out, from what i have found out, these dangerous meth lab apartments are quite common, real scary,i only rent from a friend now and will never again rent from strangers,i still feel sick with lasting bad symptoms and fearing for my health, please i would like to know if any readers reading this had similar experience, please feel free to reply, the Ether mix is of sulfuric acid and alcohol making it very toxic and poisonous, very hard to detect it`s fumes in the air because of it`s sweet smell plus these fumes and spores could travel long distance if in buildings, other chemicals also used are ammonia and acetone in the making of crystal meth,Renter beware.
