A sprite battle I made 2 years ago but for some reason I lost the fla file so I just have the movie file. Some effects are missing sometimes but I hope you like it!. Also comment if you want me to finish this animation!

+ToxicBioWarrior uh they been shot by bullet bills many times and can survive a super nova shadows gun isn't going to do any thing plus there fast enough to out run missiles the only thing that shadow can do to kill them might be his chaos blast but doesn't he emeralds for that

I like the "Ping pong" type of battles. The battle where you have to rewind to see what happens. Where many things happen. Where you can use surroundings to your advantage. But the battles you can make where one person punches the other and it's a single flowing fight, is boring and it's just like any other battle.
With Alvin Earthworm, however, he had many things happening on the screen at once. He had Shadow being chased by the Axem Green and Black wheel in the background while Luigi and Yoshi are fighting off against Pink Axem ranger. He had a scene of the four Koopa Bros. absorbing a chaos emerald rolling over to Mario, Luigi, and Axem Red sparring off. You have Luigi going out of the lane to get out of the way. You have them all crashing into a rock, sending them in different directions with rocks flying. You have Mario and the Red Koopa riding on the rocks, with Mario using them in a way you wouldn't expect. That's one of the fights that really made him famous.
This video is pretty nice, since it has a lot of aerial action as well as a faster pace than many of the sprite battles you see today. Better to be too fast than too slow. Although, one problem shown IMO is equality between the people. Where they come at each other at the same time, fighting equally, and balancing the characters. It can be boring at times. But if you have a part where Mario gets his rise smacking Sonic for a long time, then Sonic fighting the heck out of Mario with no mercy; not a blow for a blow right and left consecutively. Know that people will root for either Mario OR Sonic. If they see Mario getting smacked repeatedly, they're like "Ahh crap! Hang in there, Mario!" and they'll be at the edge of their seat. You don't want either of them to be at their best throughout the whole video.

+Denevious Grooms Sad to say, but I can't answer that question :/ I'm continuing it bit by bit when I have some free time but it's very slow... right now I think I have done around 75% of the animation. Don't worry the quality is a lot better (in my opinion) than this one :)

could you make the fights a little more simple? like not major powerful attack maybe at the end but just start simple then work your way to become not simple

Eh the animation is great buuuut I have some complaints 1. The vidio is waaaaaaay too short that would be a serious problem if they didn't bring out part two 2. In part two spoilers but in part two they made the stupit Italian plumbers won I understand the person who made this video likes Luigi and Mario better but what the f**k dude the sonic team would of win dude so make a part 3 that them winning 3. The vidio has way less action I WAS EXPECTING SONIC AND SHADOW WOULD OF TURN SUPER BUT NOOOOOOOO YA HAD TO MAKE THEM NON SUPER IN BOTH PARTS DID YA DID YA!!
