Spent the last month searching for this after it popped up in my head. I can finally rest now.
The divide between mainstream rap/music and Christian, or even just healthy music for that fact is SOO REAL!
Andy has been putting out great music that is so healthy to hear, yet barely gets any views. It’s not sad that he’s not recognized, it’s sad so many aren’t hearing this positive and influential messages!
It’s helped me through depression last year, and is helping me every time I listen to some of his recent songs between now and last year. He cleverly explains how I feel, when I’ve been having the hardest time understanding myself what I’m going through. But as he tells his story, I relate and understand myself and what I’m going through.
God bless you Andy. If you wanted to reach at least one person through your ministry, I am that person! I needed this to help me with life, Christianity, and depression. I’m no longer depressed, but I know it’s close by. Your music is medicine.

Isolation isn't bad but when you do it to get people out of your life even those that do care it becomes dangerous. Especially when you start getting that thought in your head of "I don't need God". Andy, you brought these emotions hidden deep in my soul out in this song as a mirror and a reminder --- we're all fragile and vulnerable -- some more than others, but never be afraid to ask for help -- lay aside your pride like Andy said, you'll be surprised. I also hide my feelings and put a smile. But soon it surfaced out in the open when I started acting strange. That's when I couldn't take it anymore and fell into a deep depression. If I didn't speak my thoughts and emotions to my close family and friends, I don't know where I'd be. Don't "Act brave" it's brave to be vulnerable and ask for help. There ARE people who actually care, they can't read minds unless you tell. The only person you're hurting is yourself.
Man, been an atheist for over 3 years now, it was so easy not listening to all the Christian music I used too except for Andy. Maybe because he talks about God less than ever, but I may be one of his biggest fans. He deserves all success he achieves and then some. Transparent and vulnerable. This song may be his best ever.
