Buy any of their games at Walmart. Pay the 16 bucks for the two year warranty and keep the box. My game was doa. I called customer service they wanted a picture, then a video. Its faster to take it back and swap it out. You have been warned. I am not going to mention how I had to upgrade my joystick for a better one.
3:00 except that 5 years later, this 200$ cabinet is now 600$ with the same cheap buttons. 3:30 i agree with the wood though 5:35 the "gautnlet" mispell means you have an old version that stops at level 36 in one game
I just took apart the monitor out of a golden tee classic and the back is all scratched up, like it was used. Sort of like they were trying to hide serial numbers. I had to break a warranty sticker to see this.
I have Galaga that turns on but when I try to start one of the two games it displays the instructions, I hit player one and it just goes back to the game selection screen. Any ideas?
My pacman machine does the same thing. I have finally taken it apart and all the wires are connected. Ive unplugged and plugged everything back in... nothing has worked.. only toggles between the game selection and player selection screens.
Got my kids the T2 version for Christmas and it's practically brand new. In the middle of playing with my husband yesterday it just started glitching and now won't turn on, it just makes a crackling sound .
Thanks for sharing a common issues and way to fix it, however there are couple more issue on the old Arcade1up models such as Street Fighter II cabinet has mono only speaker which some SF2 games that have Stereo won't sound "right". For those who lives in Europe, there's also own customer service to contact, if you need a replacement parts for your Arcade1up cabinet. I'm still awaiting for a clear protector panel for my SF2 cabinet.
I got Galaga in test mode A by hold all the buttons then turning it on at the same time. I got it into test mode B by holding all the buttons and joystick left at the same time then turning it on. Both modes require you the have the volume switch in the center before you turn it on, then when it asks to test it go left first then all the way right. My problem is before I did the test modes neither game would load. Now after doing both modes Galaxian loads and plays. I am able to select the games but only one loads now. Does anyone know what to do to correct this problem? *Update* Since I did the tests I got both games to work but most of the time I turn it on they don't work. I found that if I keep turning if off and on each time changing the position of the volume key eventually both games work. Sometimes only Galaxian works. When Galaga works they both work. I know the PCB is bad but not completely or it could have something to do with the volume switch. I don't have either to test to see what one is bad for sure. 1up are complete thieves with their prices and shipping. If anyone can please at least tell me what to do to completely fix it or donate a PCB or controller board to help other people solve this problem without getting hit over the head by 1up please let me know. I know theirs many other people having this problem and if you call them with it they do nothing but tell you to buy a new PCB no matter how nice you are so please help me help everyone because they refuse.
How about blurry screen ? On all games as well . I have mortal combat with defender and 10 other .. I moved . Plugged in everything was fine .. then a month later issues. it’s hardly used .. I now have blurry screen with lines on all games
Iam totally happy with the game but when I turn my game on the main screen works, I can chose between games as usual ( sound is perfect) but when I select a game it simply does not load?? And ideas on why not?
Yes, it's not bad value for the money. But, It would not cost Arcade1up a lot of money to include better quality controls. That was cheaping out. And what makes you think a lit up marque would be so expensive ? A Chinese light socket cost less than $1 and a small piece of plastic for the marque would be less than $2. That's it.
I found my 1up arcade in the trash in the rain. Wire broke inside somehow, can't wait to fix it, however the side walls of it are swelling from water rip
Returned 3 mk systems because the screen was scratched up real bad. Bought the last one #4 try and I got lucky the screen only had a few scratches but guess what player 1 joystick 🕹 doesn’t work
Building my turtles and Star Wars now, but I’m realizing I won’t be able to get them out of the room once done due to their control panels (at least turtles for sure). Do you think it would be difficult to remove the control panel and put it back together for the purpose of moving? I’m not sure how complicated it is since I stopped assembling when I got concerned.

Seeing these for MSRP $300 and going on sale for $150 is a trip in 2021 lol. Just paid $650 for the "new" TMNT cabinet! Side note, I couldn't setup an online account. It kept giving me "error occurred" message after typing in my email. This is the same email I used for NBA Jam online, maybe that's the issue? Might have to call that number, thanks for the vid!
My mom got us a Pac-Man cabinet for Christmas this year, but it wouldn't go up or down, so we returned it and we didn't even open Space Invaders before we returned it too. What went wrong?
@@GregsGameRoom The score save system is just odd in general. I have the Centipede cabinet. On Centipede it will ask for you initials for top 1-8 scores but only save if you get 1st place. Missile Command and the others do not save at all. A simple work around is putting a post it note on the marquee.... but come on
Someone directed me to your video. I've been having major online gaming problems with my NBA Jam cabinet. Since they did this last update and server maintenance a few weeks ago I've been getting penalties left and right. I've contacted arcade1up and codemystics. No answer. Please Please Please any help would be appreciated.
I got a galaga/galaxian for christmas and just got time to put the thing together and it comes on but the game wont load when selected.plus there is a pixelated section running down the screen whem selecting galaga.
My 1up arcade just has a black screen when i turn it on. Its the Mortal Kombat cabinet and i was tild that if i left it on a few days it would work again and that did work fir a month but it went straight to the black screen again. I called 1up but because my mom cant find the digital reciept they wont help me. It was great for about 6 months but its just sat in my corner for a year now after paying $300 plus. It cant be a complicated fix but I haveny found a solution. Can you help?

I'll bet you, you don't even have a real machine yourself. Not everyone can afford a real one. There's nothing wrong with the Arcade 1 Ups especially if you mod them with a raspberry pi, but with the way your brain clearly thinks I highly doubt you'd be able to figure it out.
I need help with my galaga! Everything functions, buttons, graphics are great. The problem is selecting either player 1 or player 2 buttons, it does not take you to start the game. It's been cleaned and it simply won't go in to play mode. Help!

I don't have a TMNT, but if it's anything like the 12-in-1, it's pretty easy to remove the control deck.

Yeah exactly. Although I think they'd have to modify the emulator? Not sure what is involved, I know some arcade games didn't save high scores.

It took me a month to get a new PCB, and the deck protector.
It took me two months to get my Rampage replacement board.
I have aracade one up marval pinball and its cuts off is there anything I can do about it works fine but after about 4 to 5 minutes it cuts off

Sounds like you have a bad joystick.
Take the panel off and check the connections on the joystick and buttons.

sounds like Raspberry PI is the BEST way to go
