Hey Steph, I hope you are up for a question from a non-chicken-er. What makes a broody hen? Do some chickens just lay eggs and know they are not fertile so they have no issue with you collecting them? Or does the hen decide they want chicks and then become broody?

Steph, I’ve never seen candling done before and to see the chicks inside moving was really interesting. I’m sure bree is going to be very happy that some of the eggs are going to hatch and there will be some silkies. Would you mind asking bree if she could start posting on TH-cam again, she had been But she stopped again recently, and I’m missing the videos. I know she posts on Facebook, but a lot of people like me. Don’t use Facebook for a ride of reasons for me it’s because I’m hopelessly technically challenged as I’m an older citizen! I really miss all the posts that bree used to do on TH-cam and I would love to see her posting again so I can keep up with her news. ❤❤❤🙌🏻
I'm glad she's with you she was lonely not having another dog to play with. All of Kim's other dogs are too little. And I know Kim didn't like keeping her tethered all the time. But it's so dangerous for her being on that main road...
@@helenabrus191. I think Kim said that she was a Great Pyrenees and a Chow mix... Or an Anatolian Shepherd/ Chow mix. One of those protective dogs mixed with Chow.

Her name is Minky. We have pretty much adopted her from my mother in law lol. She likes having Luna to play with.
