call uber ma, it's hard to carry all the big things around vancouver with the hot weather & without a car... + there're lot lot lot of Korean restaurants & Hanam H-Mart on the North Rd (or that's why u pick that area?..) + Lougheed mall just renovated their food court... it's a good area :D

U have Canada line and Sky train close by but still the vehicle can help U to save lots of time and effort whenever U go grocery shopping later. I agree too! You can register for evo or modo car share after if you don’t need a car every day. Might not be super accessible from your neighborhood. But you can get it from Metrotown, SFU, BCIT in Burnaby, anywhere in Vancouver for days like going to IKEA.

i am surprised you did not get the HK driver license before migration to Canada.. You can switch your HK license to Canadian license and rent or buy a car in Vancouver to get around.. When you are mobile with your own transport, it will greatly open a lot more option for you to hunt for a home and a job. A car is essential item in Canada, more important than a roof over your head i think.
Do you ask Ikea for furniture assembly service? It is not easy for 1st beginner to do it. Also, you can ask Ikea to delivery the small items that you brought with bed frame in one flat fee without carrying .... 🔔Remember the MSP & SIN.
