Arabian Oud Amiri and Tygar are my favorite fragrances and my signature scents for social events when the weather allows it. I’m on my 2nd bottle of Tygar and halfway through my 1st bottle of Amiri. Both are very simple fragrances, what’s special about them is just the quality of the ingredients and the blend. Which is why none of the 3 cheap Tygar clones I’ve tried come close to the feeling of the OG. The only OK one I’ve tried was from Alexandria but it costs 120$+ for 100ml. This is why I was skeptic when I heard this could be a clone of Amiri from Arabian Oud. Now I call tell, even if we ignore quality comparisons and look only at the scent profile AAM Amiri not a clone of either. It has vibes from each but doesn’t come 70% close to neither one. It took some heavy inspiration from AO Amiri but decided to do its own thing. But when it comes to quality, it’s an excellent fragrance for the price and I’ll be wearing it a lot for day to day events. But it doesn’t come close to the quality of the other ones, it doesn’t feel as expensive and luxurious as the 2 OGs ppl are comparing it with. But if people stop comparing it and look at it as its own thing, it’s an excellent fragrance for this price point as it’s usually the case with Ahmed Al Maghribi fragrances.
