It is a hand lever press. This specific one was made custom for me - but there are several people making them.

What a great idea! Make a card and a gift! Do you or can you upload the pattern, not the design. Or what is the ornament shape called and I will look for it on the Internet.

Thanks! I was thinking I might upload a printable with the design - but it could be traced to make your own version. I'll try and get everything up this side of the weekend.
Otherwise, "paper bauble" might bring up something similar.
