I don’t think it’s she doesn’t care as much as she knows how sturdy her brother is. Even if he gets hurt, she knows he’s too tough to simply give up the ghost and die. Besides, Am’s still one of her closest friends, while Shion doesn’t exactly have the best impression of her due to her past actions. Tokoha accepts that what Am did was wrong…but she also accepts that she’s willing to make amends for those actions. Does that make sense?
You know, I actually adore how Wakamizu uses Mega colony; a clan that can control his opponent. He’s a person who likes to be in control, likes ‘perfection’. The clan suits him! Not to mention other characters with fitting clan assignments! Misaki with Oracle Think Tank and Genesis for her analytical mind, Aichi using Royal Paladins with his socially oriented way of thinking... Oof, I could gush about this forever
I wanna feel sorry for Am, but she enjoyed bringing as much despair to Shion whatever the opportunity was. Tokoha can look past it but it’s too personal for Shion.
Am really wants to act up. She robs the kibas, taunted Shion, and then dragged poor Luna into this. Then comes in with the slowest apology I have ever had the misfortune of hearing, I am shocked that they forgave her, and Tokoha’s little “I’m NoT mY bRoThEr” must be so high that she doesn’t care that her brother almost died.
Seriously, the plot was just so forced in this episode. Tokoha is literally apologizing for what Am did like she was the bad friend. They really didn't know how to write themselves out of that corner and it showed.
It’s also a great lesson on why if someone attempts to kill your brother you can forgive and help them in less than two weeks after the fact, and if they rob your friend it’s totally cool 😎. “I’m NoT mY bRoThEr”
Re watching this series and in this episode Sousuke should’ve went into obtirandus second stride if he did he would’ve survived the turn and might’ve had a chance at winning.
