The mangaka took 6 months to release chapter 5 and 6. Right now there's 2 raw chapters, but considering that the team who's doing the translations are MIA it's probably going to be a long time until new content comes out for English fans.
Also if the mangaka goes on another 6 month hiatus the project will probably be canceled.

I don’t blame the first demon king for wanting to make life better for his people but the way he did it was wrong 😑
True, but I mostly blame the Demon God for that deal he made to the first king. I just hope later in the chapter, his hatred would slowly by slowly fade away and maybe he could change the Kingdom to something good, than that plan, because otherwise, it'll just, make him as bad as the demon king

@@aaaaaaarrrrrrrrggggggghhhhhhhhto be honest, if I was that guy, I would denote her to biological mother. The mother he first had was a good mother. This one is just to be used to further his goals.
What I like the most about this story is the power system:
1) you can LEARN magic, but not everyone has talent for that(some races are more talented, like demons), everyone has an elemental attribute and it’s described as “bending the laws of the world through the power of mana”
2)martial arts, by reaching a certain skill level the “laws of the world” recognize you and allows you to perform supernatural techniques, you can’t learn that if you use magic though, because the “laws of the world” hate magicians
3)INHERITING magic, which is the most interesting, basically a race/clan/culture can accumulate emotions and beliefs to create unique abilities spontaneously, like the “holy power” of “chosen heroes” was created by spreading a fake legend and basically makes a few humans become powerful when humans are suffering from non-human threats, it’s also what allows dragons to breathe fire and elves being skilled with archery
4)finally there’s some beings who can bestow power to others, like the Devils(who by the way get their power by embodying and cultivating a concept, like Knowledge, Taboo or Wrath)
I never like it when "thought" is put into power systems. Meaning strict laws based on emotions or just laws in general. Like you said. Only martial artists being able to learn a certain power.
Point 3 sounds like Orcs in Warhammer who can make something real when enough imagine it's real. Hence why a gun colored red is more powerful than it should cause red means power to them.
I prefer when a system makes sense but is open to exploration. As you said. Martial artists unlocking new powers.
By training ones body, they can learn to infuse and flow magic in them and develop their body to the brink and from there, magic grows it beyond it's limit.
But worst is absolute law powers. They can do this, and they can do this, NO EXCEPTION. How does it work? Just because. Light is good and dark is bad.

@@magnusm4 well there’s no “good” or “bad” element or technique in this story(as an example: “holy element” from humanity empowers humans and hurts non-humans, morality isn’t a factor, just race), the problem with martial artists and magic is that martial artists receive power from the “world” while magic is about bullying the “world” into doing your bidding, so it makes sense why you wouldn’t be able to use both at the same time, it’s not “just because” the rules are well explained and even the belief-based magic isn’t omnipotent since it demands time and power(either by having a lot of mana or a lot of individuals with similar mindset)
This story was really good so far!

I am a bit worn out on the betrayal and revenge plot lines, but it might work with this one if by having his revenge and killing the demon king he becomes the new demon king. What does he do with the friends he made in the demon kingdom like the library girl? Will there ever be any conflict between the rage born of his previous life and the affinity he develops to his current demon life?
I could go either way, he not caring at all about his tutor and mother killing them after he kills the demon king and the rest of the family. Or he will spare them as a way of thanking them for taking care of him.
I’m conflicted with this one, because it’s peace through power like Kane in Command and conquer. And it a setting where all the other characters are overpowered. Though the reason why the hero failed is because he was- “overconfident.” Thus leading towards his downfall. Though you could see the demon king as doing this because he respects the hero enough and the hero only cares for revenge and doesn’t accept the fact that his time had passed and that had he known the thing he does now, he would have found another way to get stronger.

Hopefully this doesn't turn into some bullshit about how the humans were bad so the demons are justified and MC ends up forgiving them.
I also hope so, I wouldn't mind he helping the other races that are subservient.
Not really, the humans aren’t saints either, but the demons are violent savages with pathological need for conflict, the dragons are arrogant jerks who think they’re allowed to do whatever they want with impunity and the dark elves are sore losers who think they’re still the victims no matter how much they torture other people.
Ps: the Beastmen are mostly unlucky though, the humans discriminated against them so they joined the demons, who still discriminate against them, but can’t go overboard because the first demon king liked them
It usually boils down to humanity first religious or nor
Well they killed more than just humans and the R-word of his childhood hood friend doesn't paint the demons as the good guys in my book.
I hope to see more of this one some day, it's quite different.

Every time i see the "innocent woman/girl gets r*ped by goblins" trope, i just get disinterested, i know its to build emotion but its just vile and feels horrible.
fr same with goblin slayer and berserk. its engaging but reading/watching shit like that just feels like a chore. I normally end up giving shit like that up cuz i know if i start reading im gonna feel like shit the whole rest of the day.

I think the only reason why such trope exist or any trope in general is to show/establish what kind of world the char. they're living in especially any medieval fantasy setting will always have that vile setting and also to avoid problems later on with the publication and whatever.
Like for example Goblin Slayer has that shocking trope in beginning but after that everything is mild and not that vile etc, if you can't handle such thing i suggest you stick with Shonen anime aka Naruto,MHA etc cause any anime with no shounen tag & a medieval setting will always have something vile.
@@haruusami1831 i referenced berserk and goblin slayer specifically because they DON'T get more mild. dont know if we're watching the same series but the rape scene at the beginning of goblin slayer is only the tip of the iceberg in terms of how vile the show gets later on. and dont even get me started on berserk.. It's not that anyone "cant handle it" and should go watch "soft kiddie shows" instead. its more so just exhausting having to encounter it in chapter 1 of almost every single seinen story for pure edge factor. at least in goblin slayer its more warranted because the entire show is based on the vileness of the goblins, but in this series you almost never see goblins again, the rape is almost never brought up, etc. Case in point, if the scene was removed the story would not significantly change or alter later events. its just a commonly used weak emotional hook in seinen stories and its off-putting rather than engaging.
