    In other words: your brain can find a solution if you're actively thinking about solving a problem. "I'm intensively thinking about finding a job" - boom, your brain is focused on job offers, you take more interviews, you gain more notoriety, you get hired. Law of attraction. Exists in nature. Human nature.

    The Law of attraction is a self-fulfilled prophecy based on confidence.

  • @joeycaraballo7871
    @joeycaraballo7871 6 ปีที่แล้ว +225

    Law of attraction works, but people take it to literal, the universe will work with you if you work with it, you can't just sit home and think the universe is gonna give you anything you want without any effort, its a 50/50 thing if you want a new job, you need to go out and search for one while asking the universe to let you run into new opportunities & really believe that it will, what you put out to the universe is what you get back, basically if you put your 50% in the universe will puts in 50% in too, Its not put in 0% & get back 100%

    • @dominikovesny907
      @dominikovesny907 7 ปีที่แล้ว +16

      It's very different. Outwitting the devil is written in the form of a man with a free mind giving questions to devil. The devil says at the start that he is mind controling 98 % of the human population and that there can be only evil or good, nothing else.
      So he is questioning the devil, how is he getting people to fall for him.
      I think that this is the deepest books that he has ever written. It was hidden from public until 2010, when it was after 70 years released, because hills family was afraid that they would get hated for a book with such contvoresy. Go for it man :)

It’s all about mindset, thinking that you’re the person you wanna be gets rid of the hard work and struggles of getting there and instead let’s you do it naturally or if you’re thinking of wanting something then you’re gonna be subconsciously seeking it and you notice more opportunities.

      Yeah. What're the odds...?
      It's a "thing" in media. Has been for some time. So it's got books about it. And YT channels about it. And, if you're reading a book in that genre...I'm guessing you've clicked on a YT vid or two about it too.
      It's not "the energy of your third chakra manifesting in complementary vibrations being attracted to you". It's TH-cam video suggestion algorithms. It's you pay attention to a topic and then, out of all the other stuff that whizzes past our eyes in a day, you note the thing that your brain is working on or that you find interesting.
      It's not Mystical.

    • @GyanAddict

    • @robinsondonazal9683
      @robinsondonazal9683 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Ezic mystical isn't the right word, the law of attraction falls under spiritual, and while science will try to disprove this, the spiritual side uses science to actually prove it. Like, the law of attraction talks about the universe helping you out, while science says there's no proof of this mystical universe helping you out, we're actually all just part of the universe, since everything in the universe is made up of energy/atoms, that includes us

  • @Fujtajblus

    Hi, and thanks for the video. I beg to differ on the law of attraction as you call it. I think a better term would be placebo for those who haven't seen the video. Placebo is an effect we observe which we cannot/will not dive into, yet. As a scientific species, we have found that unless you think you can find a solution to a problem, you should drop it. It does not mean the effect is not there. My point is that your explanation of placebo and the computing mind, does not account for a bunch of experiments we chose to drop. They are non-falsifiable. But nevertheless real and present.

    Thinking about past mistakes isn't exactly a waste of time. What you're supposed to do is remind yourself of what you've learned from that event. Steve Jobs said, "You can't connect the dots looking forward; you can only connect them looking backwards."

    People hear this and try to just think and think hoping something will happen but the only way for the 10% to fit is you need to go out and do something to make it happen that's the number one problem we as humans feel we are entitled to things when in reality we're not

  • @Jaccobtw
    @Jaccobtw 7 ปีที่แล้ว +6

    The Law of Attraction is 100% accurate. It responds to beliefs as well. The reason why nothing "poofs" into your reality is because you don't believe it will. The LoA is a lot deeper than this video tbh

    All of this is helpful advice for avoiding the failures of the Secret, but there is another step most people will have to follow. If you envision a future where you have achieved your goal, you give your brain a free dopamine hit for doing nothing, which can make you complacent.
    Visualize every concrete step you have to take to achieve your future goal. This mindset tells you every large, uncomfortable change you must make to your life to achieve a goal. Having a problem-solving focused mindset can bring you closer to a goal more quickly.

    I think this is a really interesting way of seeing this topic and while I agree with you on most of your points I still firmly believe that thoughts actually makes your dreams come true. I live in a pretty busy city and it's a struggle to find a parking spot. Lately I've been trying to see if the law of attraction would help me find a parking space every single time I needed one. And to my surprise it worked. I would randomly find a perfect parking spot whereas it was full 99.99% of the time in the past. I don't think it's because I didn't notice them before, because I struggled every single day.
    Where the film/book "The Secret" fails is when it gives the audience a belief that they will get what they want only by thinking. Just like you said, you can think about creating your own company and making tons of money all day, if all you do is chilling when you get back home nothing is going to happen. From my point of view the law of attraction works in a way that when you starts thinking about what you want, you will suddenly get thoughts getting into your head and usually by following these random thoughts which seem crazy at times you will get closer to your goals.
    Imo, the law of attraction is all about asking something and being confident that it will happen at some point. But until then, you'll have to work for it.
    After all life is all about experiencing. Don't bother too much about the end results, but more about what you'll get each and every single day. People wanna get rich, but then wouldnt even like trying to get rich, how are they supposed to gain any ? Nobody knows.

    The brain is also very connected to our body so this is why many professionals (pianists, martial art athletes, public speakers, etc) will visualise themselves doing the thing they want to do. The brain has a hard time distinguishing whether you are actually doing something or simply thinking about it. HOWEVER, they couple this with actual practice. You can't just imagine yourself playing every note of a Chopin piece without actual practice and being comfortable imagining yourself playing advanced pieces.
    Another thing is that if constantly tell yourself that you've already achieved the thing you want to achieve or become the person you've want to become, it's sort of like method acting and it will manifest itself in physical behaviour. For example, if you try to get better with women, you can spend years mastering all these different techniques to get a girl, but if you don't actually convince yourself you are the person you want to be, the girl will at least be able to tell on a subconscious level that something is wrong and be creeped out. When you start thinking you are a great man and deserve the women you want without having to be the person who tries to prove that you are worthy to her, it will manifest in the way you speak (tone, words, etc) but more importantly your body language.
