Diaphragm Wall Construction

Diaphragm walls can be utilized for variety of applications including but not limited to support of excavation for underground structures as subway stations, underground parking garages or any type of underground structure. Design and construction of these structures utilizing d-wall technique can benefit to utilized the diaphragm wall as a permanent structure or composite structure where the diaphragm wall is connected to another future cast in place wall, therefore having a dual function acting as SOE and basement walls and minimizing wasted real estate. Lateral support by means of tie backs or bracing is required until structure slabs are constructed, if top down construction is utilized tie backs or bracing are not needed.
