Do you get paid to tell your story? Or are you constantly telling different stories abt what happened to you? I don’t know why you stayed but this woman did it for the money. I can see if she took that experience to teach other women & young ladies to better themselves, but no she didn’t!

The Lisa Raye interview was a womanhood lesson but this interview was womanhood 2.0. THIS is what it looks like when a woman takes full ownership of her story and chooses to rise above it. This was so good! And she looks stunning.

I have had actual conversations that were not complimentary about her. And one of those were why is she trying to "come up" off his name? I felt that if she was so "traumatized" why is she using his name as her "stage" name. I always felt that she kept his legal name because of her kids which she confirmed during this interview. This was a very informative interview and I'm glad that I took the time to actual listen to her story. Omg I felt every word she said. I was that woman with 4 kids being put out of my house by my then husband, 2 weeks after having major back surgery, him taking my car keys, me and my 4 babies standing in front of our house next to my mailbox waiting on one of my neighbors to give us a ride to my moms house while I’m can barely walk or stand up straight due to my back surgery. I had all the material things in the world but I was absolutely powerless. This interview brought out so many things for me and I applaud you Drea Kelly ❤

This is one of those interviews that needs to go completely viral. One of the best interviews Ive seen to date. Drea is a force. She dropped so many truths and broke it allllll the way down. I love her. I never really questioned why she kept her last name and not that she owed us an explanation but Im so glad she explained it. Especially from the standpoint of being a mother that doesn't want her children to walk in that last name alone. Additionally, yes. Let me take this name and the legacy Ive help create and add some positivity to it. I totally get it and it could be because she's my Aquarius sister. But I get it! Well Done Carlos and Drea!

I truly appreciate this interview on so many levels. As a black woman, a survivor, a former wife, a mother, I deeply resonate with everything shared. I have to give immense credit to Andrea Kelly. I’ve always respected her for standing strong and doing her thing, but after this interview, my admiration for her has grown even more.
As a survivor sister, I feel a profound connection to her. This conversation enlightened me, awakened something powerful within, and flipped on a light switch I didn’t realize needed illuminating. Andrea dropped some serious gems of knowledge-speaking to those who may have been unaware, those who chose to stay uninformed, and even those of us who know but sometimes need a reminder.
I have endless respect for this woman. As a domestic violence survivor advocate myself, I applaud her courage and commitment. Queen, I see you. I applaud you for walking alongside me in this mission to help women recognize their worth, find their voices, and reclaim their power.

The first time I saw Drea Kelly was around 2001 (?) at the RKelly concert. It was right after the album Fiesta dropped and the concert was electric. The dancers were phenomenal and the place was so alive!!! I was so impressed by the show and asked one of the DJs who does RKelly use to produce his shows because they are always electric. He said, “That lady right over there. That’s his wife and she is very talented…”. I was in awe of her. That body!?!?! Chile!!! Ms Drea Kelly was well known in Chi Town for her gift of dance!!! I’m so proud of her. Say what you want about ChiTown but baby we make’em strong and determined in these windy city streets. LisaRaye, DreaKelly, ChakaKhan… the list goes on.
