Yep! One can select "Mark" (Market Price) as a default scan criteria, then set the maximum to "50." This will scan only for stocks under $50. I hope this helps, and thanks for watching! ^CM
Happy to clarify! The "Setup Scan" tab is actually just the name for the area that contains all of the scan features and criteria. These features are what I demonstrated in my video. I hope this helps, and thanks for watching! ^CM
Happy to help! "ETB" (Easy to Borrow) is not currently a default Scan menu option; however, a scan for more-liquid stocks - via Market Cap or Volume, for example - would almost certainly result in a very high percentage of search results that are also ETB. It's not an entirely direct path, but it should be an effective one. And in any case, thanks for watching! ^CM
@@tradertalkswebcasts Thank you. Got it. Sorry I was late thanking you... Took a little fun vacation away from all computers and technology last weekend.
Thanks for the lesson. One thing that I don't quite get it is why would the scan list contains stocks that have dividend yield less than 2% given the filter limit yields between 2 to 6%?
I'll have to look into that. If parameters are set with a 2% minimum yield, then there should be no stocks with lower yields included in the results. ^CM
Some filters are not available in paperMoney and are only accessed via one's live thinkorswim account. Check there first, then call Support at 800-435-4000 if you still need assistance. Thanks! ^CM
@@tradertalkswebcasts then why are all the teachers like @KenRose and others showing using PaperMoney and adding the Study Filter? This is not acceptable to have a mismatch between class material and actual usage. Ive taught a LOT of classes in my career. This will only lead to confused users/customers.
Thanks for the lesson. My understanding is not yet complete, because when I try to add a Study, I get an error message that says, "Study Filters allow scans based on pre-defined or custom studies. You are not permissioned for Study Filters." What am I doing wrong? Thank you.
Happy to clarify! Study Filters are only available on the live version of thinkorswim. I believe you may be using the paperMoney version. I hope this helps, and thanks for watching! ^CM
@@tradertalkswebcasts if that is the case the all the weekly/daily teachers need to STOP using PaperMoney when showing them actually being able to add Study Filters from within PaperMoney! (They must be using a "teachers only unlimited" version when doing the classes, which i s not a good idea. Otherwise this limitation needs to be removed. What is the purpose of us trying to "do sample no risk scans/filters" to practice in ourACTUAL accounts? Thats not going to work. There i a risk you might accidentally hit something and buy/sell something you didnt want to.If thats the method you want us to use, then you would have to load into the real live acct to add the Study scans and then log OUT of real acct and then into PaperMoney to do the no risk "practicing" . that is very cumbersome and non-sensixal. Please advise with tech support and customer service on this. Thanks
This could be accomplished by creating a series of Study scans to filter for Crossovers. It's a bit too much to type out in a TH-cam comment, but I may have to add that to a future video. In the meantime, thanks for watching! ^CM
@@tradertalkswebcasts how can I see premarket gappers with certain criteria in scanners preferably with related news. I tried to see premarket movers but couldn't. Thank you so much.

I have opened and started my live account. Can I use this tool even to look for stock less than $50? I only want to risk about 10%

It's easy to add "HTB/ETB" for shorts to any watchlist, but am having trouble figuring out how to add ETB to scan criteria. How to do? Thanks.

same here. All the trainers show you can add Study Filters from the PaperMoney account, so why is this locked out for actual customers?

TOs teaches us just enough to get buried once it goes live, no short selling either, is what it is Cas, hope you are still winning at this.

How do you add the SER to a scan?
You may want to check with Ken Rose to see if he happens to have a custom script for that function. In any event, thanks for watching! ^CM
