      I tried to tell my friends about this about their dad, and they didn't listen. He molested them as children, and because he's now elderly with dementia they assumed he was cured. He touched his great-granddaughter last year, and they put him some kind of facility. Now, a man touched my child in a store, and I cut his arm off. I'm not sorry I'd do it again! These perverts know it's wrong before, during, and after, nor do they care about that damn sex offender registry. The system gives them too many chances and that's just something I won't do!!!!

And as soon as they said that he went to the victim within 3 days of being released for a crime against her, I was like no way. He has no idea How his actions have affected that little girl. She was only 8 years old.

    • @Jahtutson
      @Jahtutson ปีที่แล้ว +17

      I think I heard that he was released, got violated for not registering 3 months later. THEN got violated 3 days after the first violation for trying to see the girl. My point, 3 days vs 93 days to cool off and reconsider the violation of contacting the victim. He had time to think about it. Felt the violation of not registering, then decided to violate again and see the victim. Probably because he knew he was going to be gone a while. And yet, he's still trying to present as if he's an innocent man who made ONE BIG mistake and that he really doesn't get how it happened.

    • @anovemberstar
      @anovemberstar ปีที่แล้ว +8

      , 2 problems with that.. 1) The register only has those on it who've been caught.. 2) 99% of victims know the offender... And they worm their way into a family, by grooming the adults so that they never suspect a thing. I can conceded a register can help some situations, but it shouldn't be assumed that those not on it are "safe" to be around

    Language is telling. When someone says "I'm sorry" how they phrase it means EVERYTHING. For instance I'm sorry you feel that way is not an apology as we all know. In these kinds of things when the person says "I'm sorry for what happened" and not "I'm sorry for what I did", I don't get the sense that they care so much about what they did, they care that they got caught.
    The ones who are truly remorseful will say "I'm sorry for what I did." It's the ones who don't appreciate their actions and you take no accountability who say I'm sorry for what happened.
    Obviously that's not a 100% thing but 90% for sure.

    If he gets out early, he will just have a 18 months of learning what the system will be looking for a how to beat it.
    How did this happen?
    He said he was watching porm and had his genitals out. The little girl walked in (I could be a little wrong about this part). And he asked if she wanted to touch it.
    How did you come into contact with the victim?
    I went to get my son some clothes but they weren't there.
    I was thinking a clothes pantry. Not the house of the mother of his child, his son's sister, and his current girlfriend. He presented like "it just happened, I wasn't thinking, I was watching porn."
    Those two scenarios don't go together. He pulled the wool over someone's eyes. If he had to register as a sex offender, he had to have been convicted. So he pled guilty, got probation, violate not registering, then saw the victim, all before he got this light sentence.
    Probation would not have helped him. He has no will to be better. He didn't even learn anything in sex offender or anger management class. He's saying what he needs to get out.
    I'm glad he's still in. He needs at least one lesson from the prison justice society since he can't figure out how what he did affected her.
    And I don't believe there was no contact. She was groomed I bet and he wanted to tell her something or go further when he contacted her. He was in control and didn't fear violating his probation. This, after having been in prison on other charges and probably on probation before.
    Sex offenders ARE murderers. Their victims become the walking dead. Some find their way to being reborn (by learning a new way of life- not in the sense of Christianity), but too many find that drugs or suicide is the only solution.
    Never justice for the child victims. Not to leave out the other forms of sex abuse that ruins lives as well, but child sex abuse is another monster. It's 100x harder to find a healthy life when a child has to learn what part of their life is unhealthy and what healthy thing they can replace it with. It's hard to learn what is normal to you is unhealthy and needs to be completely dismissed.
    I tell "normies" recovering from childhood abuse is like telling a healthy child to "forget" how to read or write, forget how to be polite, stop saying "bless you" automatically when someone sneezes. Not going to happen. Then, replace that behavior with something abnormal to you and do it so many times that it's automatic. Depending on when you start healing, it may be 50 or 60 years before you feel like other people and feel comfortable and part of any group. That is a lifetime, that is a life taken. You can not be in survival mode and live life at the same time. Those lifestyles are completely opposed and so many experiences are lost. Sex offenders ARE murderers!

    Letting him out early with supervision vs letting him complete his sentence and be released unsupervised is the same as having a K9 on a leash barking at a suspect and releasing him to chew up the suspect. That’s a hard decision on their part.
    I don’t believe there is ever true rehabilitation for sex offenders. I think there is a perversion switch that is broken off somewhere in your brain and it can’t be turned off. Maybe I am wrong for feeling that way.

      @benitaapplebottom01 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      Exactly...im a grad student for Forensic Psychology, and we learned about this and these offenders are truly 1 of the toughest clients to treat bc the "URGES" are sooo strong that they'll KNOWINGLY risk it all each time just at the thought of possibly being able to successfully victimize and SA a child or children. Honestly, I believe that there should be stiffer penalties when there is unrefutable proof that they committed these egregious acts bc oftentimes they escalate and go on to commit even more horrific crimes against children after being released from prisons/SO programs.

      @mandoo1396 Well, we had a guy who anally r@ped an infant. Then he beat the infant to death. Some dark shit. I was one of the officers who had to take him to most of his court hearings. He would have no remorse within the jail, but in court he would say how he was a good Christian man, that he didn't do it, how bad he felt for the infant (it was his own kid), and just the usual fake B.S. But it was indisputable that he did it. His semen was positively.... well.... I won't get into all the gory details. But he was guilty as hell. Serving life now. Offenders are VERY manipulative with not only jail/prison staff, but with the courts.

He got several chances. Abuse on an ex. Coke dealing and now this. This has nothing to do with demographics and low income area. This is what he actually is interested in. He was forgiven for the first two. It's on God to forgive and on society to protect. It takes a village to raise a child. I am not biased in my response to you.
