Heaven and Hell is a decent album. It was by no means an album of the year, but it was a decent debut. Some of the songs were very weak, and I don't think the concept landed as well as it could have. If the songs existed under a different album title I think it'd be more appreciated, at least by me. The Heaven side didn't focus enough on light, and the Hell side wasn't dark enough for it to be considered hellish. That being said, most of the songs are bops. If you were to listen to any of the songs from Heaven and Hell, I'd say listen to OMG What's Happening?, Born to the Night, Call Me Tonight, Belladonna, Torn, Who's Laughing Now, Salt, and Rumors. That's not to say the rest of the tracks are trash, but those are, at least imo, the superior songs. I have Call Me Tonight, OMG, Belladonna, Torn, Salt, Who's Laughing Now, and Rumors in most of my playlists because they're undeniable jams. Honestly I can't get into her as much as I want to, simply because her songs seem way to formulaic. They're decent pop songs, but they feel way to structured and almost mechanical in a sense. I know that many artists don't get much control over their debut (not always the case, but many artists have come forward to say their debut was mostly led by management/they didn't get to make the choices they wanted.) I'm interested in her music, and I want to see it improve though. Definitely keep your eye on her in the future, and if you listen to the album lmk what you think
