  • Clifford Rountree, Kenny Barker and Victor Renza were three American soldiers in Vietnam whose platoon was ambushed in May 1967. Twenty-two of their comrades were killed. John Blackstone reports on how that battle shaped the lives of the survivors, and how some of them spent the anniversary of that battle, fifty years later.

    Mr Barker spoke to our class, and he spoke on a board of veterans at Baylor. I’m so thankful he told his story

      I just read what is documented about it & agree it seems suspicious! Do you think it was hit by an enemy missile strike?

    • @andrewsulfaro3468
      @andrewsulfaro3468 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@Dillon-ux6it no it was an open breach explosion so what that means is that big fire ball that usually comes out of the gun went back into the turret. I highly recommend you watching the curator of USS New Jersey BB-62 Explain the situation it’s very interesting

    Always sad. and yet the USA still fails to learn from needless wars. and fails to treat and honor those who served with decency and dignity.. Hooha
