When I was a kid back in the 1970’s if you wanted to learn magic you had to crack open a book that you most likely had to actually buy, or find someone who was willing to teach you. Everything is easy now days I don’t know if that is good or bad??
Remember folks David is the Top 1% of his craft. So his slight of hand and trickery is off the chart compared to regular magicians. One of his best techniques is how he works the room in his favor to make the trick even better.

Then he asks them to grab his hands (he doesn’t need them anymore, cards are shifted to his back pocket already). He takes that one Clubs card back from her and puts it in the deck with the hearts suit. He finishes off with expanding the deck to make it look like he has the entire deck; gradually shrinks it with one hand. David Blaine is pretty good at sleight of hand 👍🏼😄

He only has hearts cause it's the least popular suit. He expected her to eliminate spades next but she said hearts. He's so slick he convinced her she chose hearts when she really wanted to eliminate it and keep spades. Genius.
I guess the first girl could be in on it. He swapped the deck while he was 'looking away' (yet still saw the card, so he knew which deck to replace with). The deck he replaced it with was somehow spaced with air gaps so it looked bigger than it is, hence the pressure made it look smaller.

They did NOT disappear. He just hold them in a way that make them look full. Search on TH-cam " David Blaine Trick Revealed " to see how it's done. It's very easy.

He does moves quickly when people are not looking. He has them focus on somewhere and makes his move. Also, it appears that the camera does some evading out of view moments for us not to be able to see when he makes the shuffle. Still nice though.
Second trick: When he asks her to show the card to everybody, everyone's attention is on her card. During this he takes the hearts out of the deck. He then holds all heart cards in his fingers, but leaves spaces between every card to give the illusion of holding a full deck. After that its like he's giving them a choice, but he isn't. If she said spades instead of hearts, then he'd say "OK I eliminated spades, only hearts and your card left" And lastly he just lets the spaces go by loosening the top of the deck and pushing on it.
the last trick at the end has 2parts: The first part, the deception, makes the person they tink they are choosing a suit. In reality, it was going to be hearts all along. Its one of the oldest tricks and simplest. The second part, where he makes the cards vanish. I have no fkn idea how he did it

2nd trick is quite hard. I've pulled it off once and the reaction was insane.
I slowed the video down to .25 and STILL can't see the actual sleight of hand. David is a MASTER.
