One thing to note, the GL's operation is tied to the game's servers, firing it, the first bounce and the explosion so it's also wildly inconsistant, grenades sometimes just not blowing up until the game wakes up then all the grenades explode at once after your target leaves the radius or detonating on impact with people as the bounce will lag and hit the same dude a second time. This thing can be really nasty sometimes tho, I've gone on a 20 kill game on quick cash w/ it before, it just works alot better indoors, specifically the stairwells in the buildings of Monaco and skyrise, use it explosive and pyro mines.
Oh and for the quicker reload we PC people do a thing called "quick switching" where you switch to an available gadget and back to the weapon, I have it on a macro for ease of use. It's a bit slower than the console animation cancelling, but it's still much faster than the stock reload time!
It was already buffed but its was already good enough its mostly best played as a support weapon at work rn can explain more later and give you tips ik i use only thr GL in ranked and competitive Edit: Okay so GL can be played a few different ways but if youre playing support it would be good to use mesh and GL with barricades so you can cover yourself from hurting yourself also to use them to angle GL shots and certain ways you usually wouldnt be able. Try to play behind your tm8s alot as long as you have someone who is good at getting kills you stay near/behind them and you are able to make people die within a few shots of a gun and thats where the player your behind just cleans them or they do some dmg and you get the clean. Dont play away/off your team but dont hug them to where a nuke could get a double kill tho. I like to run Mesh, Barricades, Gas( can swap for mines or dome), rpg( can swap but good for making lines of sight for GL and Rpg big dmg for es GL clean up. Gas is good for forcing enemies in a small spot or speading them out and both can be good for GL. Keep in mind the Gl has around 70-80 meter range and it can be played both high or low. To get the most out of the GL you want to build the rest of your class around 1. What you're most comfortable with 2. You're teammates including their weapons, playstyle, and equipment 3. The map and the enemies you play against. I will say the GL is a weapon you need to play and use alittle bit to really understand
I have a all explosive laid out and it’s very effective but I have no defense really I run grenade launcher explosive mines c4 and rocket launcher and I have the charge slam it’s a very aggressive and fun load out
No way, I was just last night thinking about trying this wep with goo gun!! I love goo gun so much but I'm kinda sick of setting myself on fire constantly with flamethrower+goo and I feel like if I'm going to sledge I want to use it with the shield
The goo gun can be played good with the Grenade Launcher (GL) but the problem is balancing shooting both the goo gun and GL. I think it's best played with Slam or Mesh. If you use mesh with up close fight pull mesh up then drop it shot GL then pull Mesh up as soon as possible again and if makes its hard to push you or stop you from moving forward or back.
