This is one of the toughest plant to deal with. I've tried everything and have given up. It's on my "no buy" list. Now, I just admire them from a distance 😂
Great dedication and patience. For 2 years you cared about the plant, which is quite a commendable job. Really appreciate your hard work and thank you for the guidance & pro tips. 🙏👌
I have watched few videos and find it very useful.the best part is that you actually show what chemicals you use to your plants instead of scamming people who promotes to use homemade solutions. I dont have time to make homemade solutions and wait for it to work if it works.BUT THANKYOU I HAVE LEARNED AT LOT . And found a way to fix my gardenia ❤
Thankyou, everything is explained. I have tried two times now to make this plant bloom but didn't survive now it's 3rd time I am trying after seeing your video.
wow, two long years and such a great reward, honestly you have a great deal of patience and dedication. Can you do a garden tour as you put out such great videos and im sure most of your plants also would have started out of seeds and propagation, apart from the nursery. i managed to get a gardenia flower and it has a negligible amount of stalk, do u think by any chance it would root, if i gave it the right conditions? just asking coz ive seen people root rose flowers with a negligible amount of stalk and no node..keeps me wondering on the wonders of nature..theres no amount of telling how she takes us by surprise.
Very appreciable that you bought a plant that needed support for life and to grow and you nurtured it to your best. As always an informative, highly specific and capturing presentation Sir ! Thanks for sharing. ❤️❤️❤️🌹🌹🌹💐💐💐👏🙏👏👌👍
Thank you! All of the American growers and sellers indicate that gardenias need Full to part SUN ! Mine are in full sun, probably 10 hrs per day and no matter what nutrients I give them, they suffer chlorosis and bud drop through the summer (temps 80-90 fahrenheit in central north carolina zone 8a) the foliage looks happy and dark green in winter. So I'm going out today to install a trellis with shade cloth to see if it makes a difference and will probably transplant them this fall
Sir, I tried to grow gardenia(Parijatham) in pot and in terrace for 4 _5 times but without success.Again I am trying another time and actively looking for suitable videos . I hope I can follow yours.Waiting for the month of Feb as you told.Fingers crossed . Actually I am taking cutting from my another plant in ground everytime.Any specific tips for me?
Most demanding? Now you tell me. No, just kidding. My in the ground gardenia plant is temperamental. At the moment, it looks well. But in summer, some flowers drop or burn. Thanks for sharing your problem solving information:)
Temperamental...nice word, ha ha :-) Here in my place, it doesn't bloom in May-Sept because of extreme hot weather..Starts to bloom again in Sept end..You are most welcome and thank you for your kind words, appreciated!
@@GardeningUpbeat. How hot is your country ? Because I noticed that my Gardenia has fewer leaves since end of April , and no more flowers . It,s very hot now in my country . Is this normal for Gardenias ?
Today I shifted my gardenia from the terrace to a semi shaded area..it was having yellow leaves and the first bud just fallen . I hope it grows well now..
I have a question for you. At my doctors office the have a bunch of gardenias and they are in full sun and dry dirt. To top it off its June 2 and im in central Ca. It is very hot at this time. 95 f. and the plant has so many flowers!!! Whats going on ? everywhere I plant it it dies!
You are most welcome and sorry for the late response..wasn't feeling well... >> How many branches of Adenium can i graft at the same time on single plant? Max Tough to answer and it would depend on the health of the plant. But still, saying from my personal experiences - It would be better to graft max 3-4 at once and leave the other branches grow. Once the grafting branches start to grow, do the grafting on other branches. Anyway, please do testing and share your experience with all of us :-) I also want to learn from my valuable viewers :-)
How much aluminium sulphate mixture supply & pot size kindly share. Thanks for doing a great job for most delicate plant like gardenia.Guide us for Azalea.
Generally, for one 8-10 inch pot, 1 liter is sufficient. If we apply more, it would drain out and get wasted. You are most welcome and thank you for your feedback. For Azalea, please refer this video - th-cam.com/video/IGr28cMYULs/w-d-xo.html
Good to know you are from Guwahati too and thank you for your feedback, much appreciated! I usually collect it from a Nursery near me (S.K Nursery, Panjabari), thank you!
I’ve just purchased one, beautiful dark green leaves, no buds. But now I’m getting nervous!😩 Should I leave it in the small container it came in or repot? It’s mid spring where I live, temps mid to high 70’s during the day, high 50’s at night.
No worries...you can definitely repot it in case you haven't done yet. It won't be able to grow well in that small pot. 70’s during the day is perfectly okay..here it's already reaching 95-98's, thank you and wish you all the best!
bhai ye batao ke gulmohar + jacaranda + Amaltas Tree . inke cutting lene main koi point dhyan rakhna hota hai kya , just 1-2 cm mota steam ko cut and use kar lu na .please reply
Hello sir. I live in Lucknow. It's too hot here. I got syngonium saplings from Kerala. It's too hot , maybe due to overwatering , all saplings leaves are turning yellow and falling. Please suggest something
Sir I have brought gardenia from nursery one week back and potted the same. But it has dropped all the buds ,is it transplant shock or I have potted the plant wrongly? Please reply
Jab bhi recording kiya..ak do line bolna bhul gaya :-( Acidic or Iron deficiency same nhi, lakin related hai. Agar soil acidic nehi hai to, Iron deficiency hota hai. Koi koi plant ko jyada Iron jaruri hota hai..jaise Gerdenia, Hydrangea etc. Chelated iron se ham uo extra iron de sakte hai, soil me pharak nehi hoga..
@@GardeningUpbeat appreciate your patience in replying to messages and also your generosity to share information and tips. I will be potting the new gardenia plant I bought after my previous one died. So super excited and also hoping it goes well this time. Thanks once again.
Both are not same...Potassium Humate works for both Potassium and Humice acid..where as, Humica acid is not a fertilizer by itself. It helps the plants to absorb nutrients from soil. If your plant is growing well and no bud blast issue, no worries. You don't have to apply any of them. For example, I don't much for the plant which is growing in ground. Apply more things in potted plants as they are bit difficult to grow plants in pots. Thank you!
That means, you are providing less water to your plants. When watering, do it until and unless water doesn't come out through the drainage holes. Thank you!
Only in cocopeat..Hmm...can be grown but you would need to feed them exactly at the right time. NPK and all other Micro-nutrients should be provided regularly as Cocopeat doesn't contain any nutrients.
I have a video where I talked about Pest managements on Hibiscus. Same can be applied on Gardenia too and please find the video here - th-cam.com/video/uwZCQNVdcbw/w-d-xo.html If you still have any questions, please let me know. Thank you!
Sorry...I was thinking to say something different..but came this word to my mind while recording..Anyway, please feel free to suggest me always, better terms or better way to say, thank you!

Which months to do root and stem pruning of mogra plant and hibiscus plant in pot 😊
Better to do at the Mid-end of February 😊
Can we use leaf compost instead of dry leaves ?.
Definitely yes and leaf compost is much better than dry leaves!
