Completely agree with this review. I have the same raft and love it. Very well made and does everything I wanted it to do.
    Enjoy Sweden 👍

Thanks. Take a look at the MRS Nomad for a look at a different packraft.

I have bought an Intex Seahawk 2 for GPB40. It weighs 8 kilograms, which is more than two times the weight of the packraft here; it also takes more space when folded (I suppose).
I have replaced the oars since the original ones seem to be made for children; that is another GPB8.
The cruiser deck on the packraft is a definite plus and would be really nice on the Seahawk.
That is to say, I have a boat of similar sizes which is 2.3 times heavier and costs 25 times less. My question is, why should one switch from the Seahawk to the Microraft?

As you said, weight, packable size and spray deck. You also have to possibility to store gear inside.

      @@Vildmark, thank you!
The price stays the only reason which still keeps me a good distance away.

Hi. Thx for the vid. Compared to the Anfibio Revo XL. Which one do u prefer, and why? Thx

    • @Vildmark
      @Vildmark  ปีที่แล้ว

That’s tricky. The microraft is lighter and has the spray deck where the Revo is a great white water packraft that can be paddled on calm water.
The Revo has a better rocker and it doesn’t have to be paddled with the inflatable floor.
That’s a really tricky question actually. I really love the Revo Xl but I think for more expedition paddling the Microraft is more suited.
Hope this helps and doesn’t seem like a politicians answer.

@Vildmark Thanks for the response! . Not a spin-doctor answer no. There are just a lot of good options. Also looking at the Mekong Pablo Whisky Bar. Thx 😃

Would you put a bike on it?

In a nutshell no, many people do but I prefer to use equipment that is designed specifically for the task. The Alpacka Carribou is designed to carry a bike. It has an upturned bow, fixings for straps in the correct place for a bike and the bike sits perfect on it.
Many people use the Microraft for a bike but I’d prefer to use the correct gear.
