I love the 2022 Lexus RX even better than the 4 cylinder 2023. I love the buttons, the navigation… I purchased the 2023 RX because there wasn’t any 2022 Lexus Rx where I live. I would have purchased the 2022. I like the V6 engine with the cheaper gas.Cheaper & Better ❤
Knowing I’m a couple of years late to the party, I still like to say, thank you for the most comprehensive review on this marvelous vehicle. Going on my 3rd RX 350 2015-2018-2022 (Still have all 3) I can unequivocally attest they are the best I’ve ever driven, yes youth passes by and I’m left wishing for smooth comfortable seats and ride, safety features, great outward visibility and the ironclad Lexus reliability, the RX 350 checks all these boxes, oh and the powerful V6 engine (only until the 2022 model) is designed to run on cheaper 87 octane gasoline, these were in my humble opinion, the last of the finest. I’m 66 and I’ll keep those until my furlough here on earth is revoked, thank you.
I have this 2022 RX 350 Luxury edition in the graphite grey. The only surprise and disappointment is that Lexus did not include the kick sensor for the rear tailgate.

If you will use the extra luggage space and need the rear legroom get the RX. The power is another advantage.. never have issue when loading it up or ever thinking ‘if only’. Not that much in the price.
the rx is the most comfortable suv ive driven so far and when i say comfortable i mean its like driving on clouds. especially with the f sport bucket seats, they hug you in while turning.

Yes, the Pano roof opens in the front half. and Yes, the cargo area, and all the riders' positions come standard with carpet; the All weather mats are an add-on, but you will still get the carpet ones. Thanks for asking!

I can't believe they didn't update the Android Auto to wireless. Quite a few nice cars have this in 2022.... and this is a lexus. I have a Blackline edition on the way from the factory.
Honestly Lexus need a big upgrade on RX 350 and ES 350 (yes new 2022 ES 350 got some nice cool stuff but most of features were already existed in Rx350).
want the Mark Levinson sound system with 15 speakers? Cough up an extra $14,000 'cuz it's unavailable on the entry level trim. You'd think a 'luxury' car would have good-sounding speakers on the standard trim level.
Great question. Right now Lexus is really focusing on the NX and trying to get its plants reopened. I wouldn’t expect to see me design images for the RX until probably May/June 2023, but that’s *if* they decide they can make it new for 2023. Who knows maybe it will be 2024 because of all this craziness
It depends on how long you can wait! With these plants shut down and material shortages, I am not confident Lexus will be able to stick to their production schedule. So the earliest you could get the 2023 model would be possibly* September of 2022. The two biggest differences between what you have and what is available on the 2022 is the touch screen with Apple CarPlay/Android Auto and the refreshed look of the grill. If you can go with out those two things for another year or 1.5 years then I would wait

I miss the hidden cup holders on the driver's side. It's good they have a touch screen now, but I want a 10-inch large screen like tesla. A lot of 'features' here are just standard for any car.
I hear you, to be fair it does have some big differences from the 2016, Like a touch screen and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. But it’s definitely ready for a remodel!

The exterior of the RX is undoubtedly beautiful with the chrome accents but once you open the flimsy doors and the cabin config, full of buttons esp the AC area, analog gauges and the analog clock w/CD player for 2022?Lexus must trying to create a classic elegant feelings.
You’re spot on. I guess according to some data that I didn’t see with my own eyes, the average age of the Lexus guest is somewhere around 54. So I think that’s why we have held onto the analog clock and CD player for this long.

I’m on my 3rd RX and don’t think for a micro second that it is behind the competition in any way or form, in my humble opinion, very smooth comfortable ride, V6 engine, 87 octane gasoline and Lexus reliability makes this particular Lexus a big winner. And it cost thousands less than those Germans unreliable vehicles.

Had to look long and hard for months to find the 2022 RX 350 luxury with matador red I wanted. Only way to go since it has a smooth natural V6. that is bullet proof. Flew out to Kansas, last month and drove back to NC. Has about 2400 mi. now, such a quiet, smooth, comfortable ride. Also hit some snow and ice and the locking rear diff. was great at keeping good traction. Did try out the new NX, so cramped and not nearly as quiet, no comparison in my mind.
I’m not sure if it will be as soon as the summer of 2022 based on how things are going right now. We received our first 2022 models the first week of September and they have been selling out before they get here. Things are being produced very slowly and cars like the NX, IS 500, and LX 600 are getting delayed. BUT I HOPE it is redesigned next year :)
I'm going predict no, because the NX just got redesigned (2022) and it is very close to the same price as the previous body style (2021) even though it is an all new design- inside and out.
I have no doubts that the RX350 is a great vehicle , luxury and reliability wise... but I just can't dig the rear end, it's so much like the RAV4, with those edgy rear tail lamps. Why can't they do something more classy that sets it apart from it's more economical cousins...

I stay with with my previous comment, the previous year RDX rear end design really is not nice from my personal perspective. You do not have to agree with that.

Absolutely. It has plenty of room for every seat and the seat leather is soft and very welcoming.

I don't know for sure, but I'm assuming they used eco mode to get the MPG listed on the sticker so they could get the highest results. 20city/28Hwy
18city and 24 highway. (That is what I get on my RX 350).

Yeah, usually Lexus takes about 3 years to make significant changes. So theoretically, the 2023 RX should be a whole new body style.
i really hate that "L" design in the front and back why put the ugly black background..... thats why im getting bmw x3. bad design
