That is absolutely some bullsh-. On the inside corner on the passing side, you don’t see it until your on it. GA DOT needed to block off that lane until it was swept up.
Yes, that f*kn dirt came out of nowhere, that's why you need to slow down, especially in the turn, especially when there's a truck on your side..... I'm glad everyone is alright. It could've been much worse.
I went down in that same curve a couple months back due to dirt being on the road and the crack filler that they place to fill the roadway cracks. I wasn’t doing but 40mph. The Dot knows better than that and should have some kind of warnings up. I am seriously thinking of sueing the DOT because they know the hazard there. It costed me 3K worth of damages on my hayabusa.
Wouldn’t be surprised if locals sabotage curves. They hate sound and speed of sportscars and motorcycles but love the revenue generated from them. Everytime I’m up there in a store I overheard locals making negative comments about Atlanta. Dawsonville is a major white supremacy area too openly advertised with signs at some intersections. So yeah them dropping oil in turns would not be surprising. Shame it’s not like California where the best mountain roads aren’t as populated.
I would be livid, that could have killed someone, lucky it didn't and everybody came out without serious injury. My neck and back would definitely need some treatment and therapy with an injury attorney. I know you are pissed just from the carnage to your beautiful Ducati. I have a 2024 Aprilia RSV4 Factory and these Italian bikes aint cheap nor are their parts to repair. Be safe out there!!!

I'd send that vid to GADOT and a bill for parts....they know better than that!
It's the towing company's fault from the previous accident or incedent. Towing companys are paid to clean up all accident debris on the scene.
