Then finds out that he makes his own webbing, his eyes show that he now knows that Peter is as smart or even smarter at that young of an age with very little help or support then even Tony was with all his resources.
Yeah; in iron man one, they had only said that Tony had built his own bike by that age, which anyone can do if they either have good training/a manual. Building your own material with immense tensile strength is a whole different ballgame
I will say the knowledge of things Tony had at that age vs Peter is vastly different. He's talking in terms that didn't exist when Tony was a child. When Tony was a child his sources to things were the people around him. Peter, the whole world is connected, mass information, that's a far greater resource than Tony ever had as a child.
