No matter how many time, I still love hearing your story. And it took putting my beautiful fur baby, Ruby, to sleep last year that made me realise life is too short to be doing things that don’t bring us joy and happiness. As my caring full time for my mother will come to an end at some point in the future I am grateful that it has allowed me to be a stay at home fur mum and really think through what life after caring looks like. It’s not about how much money I can make, it’s more about how much do I need in order to live the life I want.

My first try at online business was launching a private label product on Amazon in 2016. I didn't know anything, having been a hairstylist for over 18 years by then. My first product was a silk pillowcase. Yep, but I had no idea how far that idea could go and didn't have the skills or experience to make it happen. But I did learn how to source products and negotiate with manufacturers in China. But I gave up when so many new sellers started coming in with cheaper prices. Aahhh! I didn't know what I didn't know. Then I proceeded to try every online business under the sun. I learned a ton of skills, but what was lacking the most important skill of focus. After dropshipping, local lead gen, online courses, selling on amazon and etsy, print on demand, I'm back to try to build an ecommerce brand. But now I have a few different ideas and don't know which one to pick or if there's something I'm missing. This thing is a lot harder than people make it seem, but I'm just pushing forward.
