He was building pods for the homeless until the government stopped him and it was on property that he bought. And I really like his music ministry. They are really doing it, and I'm here for it.

Christ lead the family, not the husband. Husband and/or wife lead the family towards Jesus, not just the husband. For instance if the husband is not Christian the wife lead towards christ. In all the families that I know it's the wife who turn the family to Jesus cause they are more spiritual, more sensitive to the love, more curious of who create this child, this miracle of life in my body (pregnancy). The wife and the husband are the same reality when they are in Christ, they form one reality, the couple, they are one like Jesus said.

I don't told you what I think, I told you what's the reality in our life. The man is called to be a leader, it's in his nature. The wife also but less cause they are more in the reception. But I disagree with you : Jesus don't said that and the center of the faith and the Bible is Jesus who enlight the whole Bible. Jesus is directly the word og God cause he is. But St Paul scriptures are inspired. The scriptures talk about God through the subjective and partial vision of the man who is influenced by his story. But Jesus is God. So the most important is what Jesus said and you must read the others books of the Bible with Jesus as light. In the passage you quoted St Paul speaked about discipline for a specific time, it's not about religion it is more about the day life. Christianity is not about laws it's not a system or a human ideology. As Paul said himself we are not under the Law but under the spirit. Christianity is not a rule system like Islam : Jesus don't tell us plenty of rules. It's about us God and his love who save of the sins. Period. You cannot read Paul like you read Gospels of Jesus. St Paul is important but there are things in it that are for a time that is passed, in a same way Deuteronome is more for a time that is passed and abolished by Jesus. St Paul said women must wear veil for prayer. OK, that is good for not disturb the teens in puberty during prayer but now nobody does that cause men control themselves but that word stay important cause that say us to wear decent clothes especially at church. But nowadays only sisters of monastery wear veil and it's good but it's not for all of us. We must understand scriptures with the spirit who make us free not with the Law. It's like when apostle Paul say that people who are not married should remain alone to work for God and then he said that only if they can't control themselves they should marry. It you understand that at the letter for our time you are wrong. That is for a time where the world needed people to go to mission in a world of wolves like annonce Jesus. But now we know all the beauty of marriage, and of sexuality, and all the vocation of marriage, and nowadays we know that a family can go to mission together without being killed as martyrs. I understand that at Paul s times women were not as smart than men cause they didn't study. So it was logic that men lead. But times passed and this was adapted to one time, it was not about religion but discipline like deuteronome. Now, times have changed : now women are as smart as men cause they study in same school, (you can say that men are often more immature), now girls study so husband and wife work together, but at Paul's times women were immature cause they didn't study. we have understood that husband and wife can talk more and take decision together cause they are one in Christ. And to finish, there are several figures in Bible of women chose by God to rule men. God is the first true feminist (I hate this world cause he is used bad by leftists and socialists): in the Judges he called some women to rule all the Jewish people and even lead armies! There were prophetess like Anne in gospels etc... And in our history we saw that Jesus teach us that women must not be underestimate : ste Jeanne of Arc lead men to defend French people, ste Thérèse of Lisieux is doctor of Church with st Thomas of Aquin etc... And there is more saints who are women now, more and more. But I agree with you : men are made for lead, women just don't want as much the lead. It is a difference of nature not of a Law. But this difference doesn't mean that women can't lead. It is known that the bad people want control, and want the lead cause they love to dominate. And the kind people don't want to lead, but when they choose to rise they become good leaders. Same thing with women. Women can be good leaders. Don't make the word of God a system.
