Enjoyed the Video!!! We have a plastic sleeve like that for our Mailbox... Looks Classy, not cheap looking as I think of some plastic fencing!!! We're just finishing up a Wheelchair Ramp for my Mum made with Pressure Treated Wood. 2" x 6" Boards on Top, with 2" x 4" Framing. It looks Great!!! You've built a Beautiful Deck, Ramp, & Stairs!!!! ❤ Thx!!!
I showed and asked the customer and she said don't do it. The last trex deck we did I made the picture frame and it looked great. Just a little more framing for support beneath.
I will go back and review. I removed vinyl siding and rolled up the house wrap. Bent white aluminum in my siding brake and formed over ledger board and up behind wrap. The previous deck had no flashing and they were lucky no rot was found. Possibly because of the two foot roof overhang maybe. Thank you for asking. Our code officer would have caught that if I didn't do it too.
Good video but some key factors were left out. I would like to have seen how the ramp design was determined, assembled, and code compliant. That is what the information I was looking for the most. There are plenty of deck videos out there but none too many on building ramps. Cut out that e slow-mo portion also. Nice job though for the info that was provided.
I went back and noticed how much was missing looks like some lost footage. Thanks. I may have another ramp with roof to build at church, if so I will record it.

Do you put some type of material on the ramp so it isn’t slippery?
I didn't. The slope is so low anyway. Thr boards have a texture woodgrain. May get slippery if mold or Polen builds up.
Nice deck but you need to complete the video and show how you insttalled the railings you got lazy

Depends where your located.
Just wondering did you use the regular rails for the ramp or did they have to be stair or ramp rail

I would of used white lattice
I personally don't like lattice at all. Customer chose that color.
