You know, something very funny I found out about this boss is that Aphrodite’s whole gimmick of debuffs can be completely annulled with Galatea’s third skill. A skill called “Aphrodite’s Grace”
Some pantheons are aliens who integrated into the myth system of Earth, like the Greeks and the Aztecs (the latter apparently being space fungi). I also heard something about the Celtic or Norse gods also being immigrants? Though I can’t tell the veracity of that. The Chinese pantheon also have that high technology stuff going on with their sage arts, so I wouldn’t be surprised if they were aliens, but they could also simply be homegrown gods who did actually develop technology analogues to more sci-fi concepts since nothing would really stop local gods from truly developing in a conventionally scientific direction. Other gods we know we’re born on Earth, though. The Mesopotamian gods for sure.
Greek gods? Well apparently the term deus ex machina or clockwork god comes from greek mytholgy, they were the first to coin the term of using divine intervention in the plot of a hero to ensure his victory. I think they decided to make it literal and turn the Greek gods into machines. Which considering how terrible and robotic they were towards mortals it makes perfect sense.

Imagine being a goddess and yet defeated by great Painter.
A great painter possessed by an outer god
But ¨Van gogh¨ is actually Clytie oceanid, a Greek goddess. It's a Goddess vs Goddess fight.

Apparently in Fate, Gods are aliens. Pretty common belief in Japanese fiction so definitely not the first to do so
@@Goblinhandler nah this is actually kind of the opposite of the truth
