I love it! What a cool idea and I love the work under regular light as well, and it's so different from the black light. I do tend to go for the off-beat so maybe that explains it. Super video you guys!

This is fun and I don't think the daylight look is that bad...unusual, but that often adds to the intrigue IMO :)

I absolutely loved this video. The side by side was amazing but the best part is sharing in your udder delight and the best giggle I’ve heard in a long time. Thank you!!!¢

What a fun video! Your unveiling was so funny. What a difference between blacklight and studio light! Amazing. Thank you both for sharing! I so enjoy your videos. I'm just beginning coloring for relaxation and am doing color-by-number. I know it's a cheat, but I have no color coordination AT ALL. I found your channel because I wanted to know what pencils and pens a beginner should use. I am now hooked and look forward to your videos. :)

Very pretty under black light and pretty under real light too. The colors still look good together. No fail!!!

I love the blacklight version best but honestly in regular light it isnt too bad. Its just a new color palette youd never normally use. Anyway, it was fun. Have a great day

That looked really fun. I the way the colours are different in both lights.
I know what youean about the double vision as that's how I see all the time.
Thank you for this fun video.

Thank you for your contribution (sacrifice?) to "Art Science," Jennifer!
The colors really pop under the black-light! I kind of like the design even under regular lighting.
I think you'd make a really good teacher. Don't worry about not knowing the terms. I tell my students I have Proper Noun Disorder because I can't remember the names of people, places, things, and ideas. Sometimes, I call it Jargonitis! Lol!
    Tfs!

Dear Jen. You always glow! Personally, I choose to not use black paper or black aida cloth for cross stitch! Because I can't see it! However, this
piece is so pretty! Good fun! Lib 😘

I have done a number of glow-in-the-dark parties for our children's ministry (it is amazing all the things that are luminous and many of them are safe and nontoxic). But yes the art looks terrible in the light but it is so much fun!

I like the colour scheme in the day light. I think, this is very interesting colour combination, unusual, fresh, futuristic. Like the scene inside some spaceship from future or another race, with glowing lights. I like it very much.

this reminds me of a glow in the dark tree that someone painted here on youtube. It was really gorgeous. Makes me wish I could go visit an artist who has all those neat glowy inks and paints and things so they can make me some cover art for a notebook.

Oh darling Jennifer & Steve, thank you for such a good hard laugh with that reveal 😂😂😂
Sorry for your poor eyes But it was so wonderfully fun and beautiful to see that process under black light!!
I thoroughly enjoyed this video. It would be wonderful if you put together a list of brands/colors that work well under black light, it would be awesome to do this with my children.
    Thank you!

In general, I think art science falls under chemistry, especially when you're talking about the supplies. I'm sure there's some physics as well, dealing with light.

I was only around backlight two times in my life one time was during a laser tag and for some reason I made the mistake to wear all-white so I stuck out like a sore thumb and then also my dad's secretary son had a backlight in his room and when my cousin and I were in there he would turn it on while we were listening to Iron Butterfly lol

Except for the obvious neon colours, the colour pencils (including the water soluble) that glowed did so because they have optical brighteners in them. This will also mean they have poor lightfastness.

I'd love to see you do one in studio lighting, then turn over to the blacklight afterwards
