Just heard "Stone" last night off of Remo Drive radio and this is the first performance I've looked up after listening to that song all day and I definitely think I found a new favorite band
My first experience with Born Without Bones was when the Hotelier came to my town and needed a guitarist so they brought the lead singer from BWB (his name escapes me, I’m recovering from surgery and I’m tired. Fell in love with BWB after that
so i've actually never listened to radiohead. i heard creep on the radio the other day and immediately recognized a very similar chord progression. creep uses: I-III-IV-iv stone uses: I-iii-IV-iv creep is more like skirting the lines between G major and G minor (the III and iv are borrowed from G minor), while stone is purely in G major and just borrows the D# from G minor.
