@@attorneysteve I'm the plaintiff in a federal 1983 claim in NY Northern District Court that is going surprisingly well. Made it past the initial review and motion to dismiss. Now on to the mediation phase.

If I choose to amend the settlement..... Do I still have the right to continue mediation? I am a defendant of a frivolous lawsuit and I do not mind settling but I want plaintiffs to be deposed before we all sign the settlement. I have already been deposed but my insurance failed to depose plaintiffs and chose to pay plaintiffs a high dollar amount. Insurance adjuster said he can offer plaintiffs a settlement without my consent. A deposition is the only way I can have proof of all the lies plaintiffs made up.
