NASCAR Xfinity Series: DoorDash 250 Highlights | NASCAR on FOX

- The DoorDash 250 was a very clean race. The race ended with only two cautions and a few spin-outs but no major wrecks. Kyle Larson came out blazing and got the clean sweep and won Stages 1 and 2. Larson was able to lead most of the race but as the race dwindled down, Aric Almirola was able to steal first place. Aric and Kyle battled things out with Larson trying his best to get the lead back, but in his effort to get the lead, he took a wide turn with eight laps to go and fell to third place with A. J. Allmendinger taking second place. Aric Almirola was able to hold off Allmendinger and Larson to capture the big upset win at the DoorDash 250 at Sonoma Raceway.

At the rate Larson was driving, I didn't expect him to make a veteran mistake that cost him the win. Who knew an old underdog from the Monster Energy series would end up winning this race! Wow! 😃

Congrats to almirola or almarilo from country roads, Larson mistake cost huge pace of win, Allmendinger back to back points score it's all about consistency and luck to clinch titles like those!🤩🤩🤩
I absolutely hate the fact that Cup Series drivers are allowed to compete in the XFinty and Truck series. Although I know they can’t gain any points in their Cup standings by winning in these series, they bite a real chunk out of the money. And it just feels wrong !!! Let young inexperienced drivers have a go at winner’s circle instead of Larson, Allmendinger etc. Drivers to series !

I'm a catlr enthusiast mostly in the JDM& Italian market. I work on japanese cars& love Italian. So, as far as competitive car racing goes I'm really into drifting, drag, rally & street. So I've never really paid attention to like nascar & formula.
Yes it is. Nascar has a handful of road courses they run a year and they actually used to only run a road course 2 times a year but now they have the handful I mentioned earlier.
@@noahpyke6091 which is a good thing. The veriety makes it exciting and it helps against dulling out the sport with the same thing all the time.

there are a total of 6 road courses on the cup series calendar. not sure about the rest tho.
They also raced a road course in Portland recently. Which is new to me. This year has a few surprises as far as locations go. I'm used to the standard schedule they had when I watched a decade ago.

Why are cup driver still in the Xfinity series? Other professional sports you don’t get to go back and play your college team.
Because they can to help them on Sundays.....don't like it change the channel
