Thanks, both of you! I just uploaded this, so I didn't expect to hear any feedback yet. This is a nice surprise (with kind words, no less). I've been playing guitar for around 28 years. Been recording (in other people's studios) for a bit, but I've only been recording at home since around January of this year. This was my first attempt at mastering. Hope the sound quality is okay. :)
@@onevoiceinc It just works magic. BTW, Satch used a JB in a Kramer on his first two albums, Not Of This Earth and Surfing With The Alien. Although he's thought of as a big DiMarzio endorser, he didn't start using them on a regular basis till he got an endorsement with Ibanez and began using PAF Pros, which are good, but not as good as the JB. But the whole tone you hear on those first two albums are totally JB. In fact, Satch has been known to pop in a Pearly Gates set into his Chromeboy and other guitars now and then, but DiMarzio is very mum on this, of course. The JB just rules. Also gets a nice clean tone. You can literally play anything with a JB. It goes where your playing goes.
YOU are too kind. Thank you. Made my day. I'm literally working to finish two newer recordings and get them posted as soon as possible. If you like this, I think you'll like the newer songs.
True story. I got sent out of town for my day job at the time, so I had all kinds of time after work. So I began creating the song with drums first at the hotel, knowing what I wanted the guitars to do. I built all the drum tracks on Studio One. Eventually I got back to town and was able to do all the guitar tracks. For the video, me and the wife just went to a spot that I scouted out. I'm always looking for video shoot locations, lol.
FuzzyWuzzy Guitar - thank you! Looking into it. I hit a small snag, but I'm definitely planning to do several more videos and original recordings in the near future.
Great VID!! I am thinking about getting this guitar, after a year, do you still like it? Does is play well? for leads and all? I also have a Studio One Presonus setup and learning still. I do know that the Studio One has a video player matching audio track feature, did you do that on this one? Or did you use just the Sony Video Studio? I appreciate any info on it, thanks!
I recorded all the tracks (guitar and bass) except for drums, which I built from Studio One. As far as the Ibanez itself, yeah, I'm still loving it. I find it to be very versatile, especially with the JB/Jazz pickup combination. I still use it as my main guitar. Lead and rhythm both. Thanks for the kind words. :)
I am pretty happy with mine. I especially love the weight and the shape. Now that I've had it for almost a year, I am considering replacing the tremolo bridge with something that I'd have easier access to parts with (traditional Floyd, probably), but honestly, it's been great in live situations. It doesn't go out of tune. With the JB/Jazz pickup combination, I get some great tones. So yeah, I'm pleased with it. Thinking about getting one?
I prefer fixed bridge so I`m thinking about S521 or FR365. I always use LP but life ... now it is little bit too heavy for my back ;-) Jumbo frets are ok?
I had read mixed reviews on the frets, but I love them. The neck feels wonderful. Easy to get around the fretboard. I would be prepared to drop some better pickups in. The stock pickups sound like stock pickups, heh.
+missszak Pictures don't capture the rich color, trust me. Been trying with video and camera, and it doesn't do it justice. As far as my previous guitar, it was a blue ESP Ltd with Duncan Designed pickups. Loved that guitar. I named her Jacklyn.

Great playing! Nice song! Also love the JB/Jazz combo. Been using it since 1986. Best pickup combo of all time.
Thanks, first of all... and yes, I love that pickup combination also.

@@angusorvid8840 I learned something. Never knew that. I'm a huge Satch fan, especially his older material.
@@onevoiceinc I prefer his older JB tone.
That was fantastic. Thanks for sharing! Can't wait for the next one.

Man you are a very talented guitar player, fantastic song!!! How long have you been composing your own music for?

What do you think about this Ibanez?

I`m little bit surprised ... I don`t like red colour but ... I like this one ;-)
