And Achal got such a bad edit it made her look like such a cry baby. At least AJ had the boring edit I'd rather have that then one that makes me look bad

cycle 7 was the best cycle for sooooo many reasons but truly the #1 reason for me was how ICONIC every single girl was👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
No prior modeling experience and she has that walk. Amazing.

AJ is so beautiful and real. I wish she didn’t have to go. I could listen to her all day long and you too, Oliver. Your good mood and great sense of humor is contageous. Seeing you always brightens up my day
Definitely she was my favorite on cycle 7. Her pale skin, black short hair, tall and powerful runway, beauty and strong presence could beat even Melrose but I understand she didn't last long enough because she was not part of the drama house. If modeling was, she could be easily top 5. She went go home too early. It was surprising for all of us. Now she looks even more Gorgeous. I love AJ.
I also remember seeing Jeffrey Star in the audience for the floating on water runway challenge.

Did she think she was eliminated because producers knew that she is one that they cant control? That they wanted someone that can create drama for them.
Duh. They do that in almost every season. If a certain model don't comply with their demands or give them any content, they get rid of them.
She says in the video that she asked to be kicked off.
If only there were a video of an interview with her somewhere that addressed this....
Actually it was kind to get her eliminated because of her panic attack but not forced her to stay though many audiences loved to see her on that time.

I was friends with a few speech pathologist majors in college and they were always buried in the books and had to miss out on partying because it was so demanding

Ah I missed this live! Im so excited for it AJ was my pre-show pick for this cycle and was sad when she was eliminated but after hearing all the stories: it makes so much more sense of why and how AJ got eliminated. Seriously one of the best runway walkers ever!
Loved the whole thing! AJ is one of my personal favorites. Definitely saw her Eugenia and Anchal as the Top 3! Thank you for taking my question and answering it with grace 💕
AJ and Brittani Kline are my favorite runway models on ANTM.
I absolutely believe that the top 7 were pre-selected, not just the Top 5!
Anchal left due to insecurity and weight gain but her beauty was unique that she had to go as far they could take her.
Jaeda looked amazing and had the look but was not confident with her makeover. So I think they dragged her as far as they could as well.
Tyra did say she wanted the twins in Top 3 but unfortunately Amanda sucked and Michelle didn’t want to win.
Eugena had the potential to win for another season, but they couldn’t crown her since Dani had just won cycle 6 and I think Tyra hated that Eugena didn’t have the fake bubbly personality.
& I do not think having a Final 2 ‘battle of the blondes’ was a coincidence 😒

Amanda definitely didn't suck, even though obviously Michelle had more of a natural edge to model. I can agree with the rest
I bet if Aj didnt savotage herself, she would had made it to top 6 (instead of Jaeda) if not top 3 with Melrose and Cari

Hearing AJ saying that she told the producers she wanted go home and they sent her home makes me wonder why didn't they did that for Alisha (Cycle 18) when she was going through a lot of mental health issues. Savages.
Because Alisha was the preselect to win that season. Had Alisha not quit, I'm pretty sure she would have outlasted Sophie and won. You could tell the judges were pulling for her more than any other girl.
@@kyleroberts1276 I already know that. I'm just saying I wished they would at least show some level form of compassion for Alisha by just eliminated her after she told them she wanna go home.
Cycle 18 was also several years after cycle 7, so I would assume that the producers went about a lot of things differently by that time.
She gave MAJOR Tsundere vibes. At first, badass but also kinda cold... but as the season progressed she showed how warm she could be. Specially with Anchal trying to comfort her while she was crying and with Megg before she was sent home. I really wished she stayed longer cause her character development was great and as a model, she was the best of the casting. She could had gone all the way till the end!

Ooh Tyrone, I completely agree with you! Cycles 1-14 of America's Next Top Model are available to stream for free on Amazon Prime, so they have no excuse for not being able to rewatch their season & be able to answer the interview questions more effectively!😂😂 That being said, I love AJ & I understand that people have busy lives!

As much as I like Marvita her interview was terrible because she kept saying that she didn't remember anything. It's weird that the audience can remember things and we were just watching, but they were actually there!

AJ was def one of my favorites as well and I was mad she was eliminated early. Hands down she could have had one of the twins or Jaeda's spots along with Anchal in the Top 6. Cari, Eugena, Anchal, AJ, Melrose, Michelle OR Amanda would've been sooo good

I have to admit I didn't like her much when I first watched the cycle but with the hindsight knowledge of editing plus this interview she seems absolutely delightful! This interview didnot go how I thought it would at all but was really fun to watch. So nice lol

Oliver stated previously that he and Melrose were in talks to do an interview, then Melrose didn't like the direction the interviews were going so she eventually declined.

I am a big Melrose Stan. Based on editing they made her look like a bitch but she was just REAL competitor as well as a perfectionist and very filter less. I think people like that can be intimidating and also very hard to digest when you are somewhat insecure. She was also one of the best photo models,she was short for runway but she was great. I don't remember the thing in Anchals video, but I will re-watch them all now. Too bad, because even un her IG accounts she has shared some cool stuff

I've been binge watching all the ANTM seasons while stuck at home with an injury, and Cycle 7 is the last season that held my interest. I've been trying to push through to later seasons but I'm like nahhh....Cycle 7 had everything I ever wanted. CariDee, Megg, AJ...a straight up all star cast. I might go rewatch it again just for funsies.
