I started tearing up when Jayda said people always highlight the materialistic gains from Gods blessings, but the real blessing is when you bounce back from something that was supposed to break you mentally. That convicted me because I was at my lowest point earlier this year and now I’m starting to feel normal again. All Glory to God

I agree with Dess. A lot has changed with kids. They’re connected to internet with 24 hour news. When we were young we were outside, with our cousins, forced to go to church, limited tv time etc. Kids are not meant to be behind a screen for more than 5 hours a day, sorry.

    • don’t be so hard on yourself.
    • you are so loved, give yourself grace.
    • success isn’t gonna come over night.

Yall are literally watching her grow and practically watched her whole life damn near.. she’s learning just like everyone else has to , it’s just her life is more in the spotlight . Shes super genuine with people and if you’ve ever seen her, you know that. And sometimes she do say stuff on live that you may not understand but iyk jayda she really just talk to her supporters like they are her homegirls 😂😂😂 the weirdos be the only ones looking for the negative in it .

•Build a relationship with GOD! If nobody got you God got you & he won’t put you through nothing you can’t get through! Everything happens for you not to you! God got you!
•don’t rush! Life is not a race it’s a marathon!
•don’t lose yourself in relationships! You can’t pour into someone else without pouring into yourself! Fill your cup
•go through the healing journey! Don’t sweep stuff under the rug! Figure out why certain thing trigger you & why you feel the emotions you feel in certain situations
•always have pure intentions! Move out of love! Don’t be out here hurting people & moving slimey! You will reap what you sow & when you sit with yourself make sure you moved in a way that allows you to be proud of yourself!
•be grateful! In a lot of situations we are quick to be like more more more when we’re sitting in an answered prayer! Be grateful for where you are! Be present! Be in the moment!

It touched a lot of things I’ve been talking about lately with my close friend and also things I’ve read in my Bible❤ I feel like it lowkey gave me confirmation!!! I’ve watched all 4 episodes.

    5 things I wish I knew when I was 20
    1. Actions prove why words mean nothing, believe people actions the first time, don’t paint your own picture of what you “hope” for them to be.
    2. You do not owe social media an explanation. People are actually intrigued with what they don’t know.
    3. It’s okay to say no. You can’t pour more into others glass while yours is getting empty.
    4. Be careful of how highly you ride or speak on someone; you never know what’s being done behind your back.
    5. Breathe and enjoy life; you have to live for you, you take care of you. No one is answering to you so you don’t have to answer to anyone.
    Overall great episode ladies!!!

Jayda,… I want to respond to why do people get baptized, the whole meaning is to become a follower of Christ it’s deep, I’m so sorry you experienced that at that church it’s giving they had good intentions trying to show you off 😂 setting a good example. I wish they would have asked first not just doing it outa no where ion like that either I get where your coming from both pov. All I know is no one can ever take my faith from me I was also raised Catholic (Mexican parents) it’s in our culture and for good reason a lot of miracles no other religions can compare I do feel Satan is out there to separate all of us from god he will come in many ways and forms and in the book of revelations he gets in the church and it all falls apart… so with that being said don’t ever lose your faith and please please always remember god always forgives he always is there waiting for us to go back to him he knows evil is out there constantly trying to get us against him, what’s right is right and what’s wrong is wrong, god doesn’t accept these new modern things that people are trying to normalize and make “okay” there’s good and evil and evil is trynna appear good but it’s not!! Only god can judge and he will judge in the end!! I would recommend finding a humble church or humble church people with knowledge that can explain and answer your questions in the church, there’s so many nice saints out there, our goal on earth is to become saints as well no we are not perfect but god wants us to try and to follow his path being good to one another and doing what’s right it’s easier said than done but never give up god is always number one above all like the first commandment says he’s number 1 no one else before him

Bag lady being this title is so on point. And yall singing was funny asf! keep these episodes coming and don’t listen to what anyone says. Being a newborn Christian/baby Christian or whatever they want to call it is so hard. Ignorance is truly bliss. Because once you see things for what it is, you can’t even sin the same. I’m definitely hard on myself and have to stop and give myself grace lol. We’ll never be perfect so it’s ok. This podcast was my confirmation ❤️🫶🏼

When it comes to the kids going to church topic. It’s a lot worse these days because like Dess said instead of going to church they’re on the internet. When we were growing up a great number of us were in church multiple times a week. It may not have stuck back then but now that we’re older we know to go back to that (Christ). These children are not doing that and they are also being raised by people who were church hurt so they’re not being exposed to Christ in a good way or at all.
Now that I’ve moved back to my hometown I’ve decided that my son needs to be attending the church that I grew up in. He may not understand it now but when he gets our age he will.

Favorite episode!!!! Btw, I saw some other comments mention that humans are born into sin (the technical word for this is "iniquity" - it's basically sin that you did not commit yourself but has been passed down in your bloodline), and I just wanted to cosign that and leave a Scripture for direction. "Therefore, just as sin came into the world through one man, and death through sin, and so death spread to all men because all sinned-" - Romans 5:12 ....and this is why Jesus is AMAZING because when we believe He died for our sins and are reborn, spiritually, we become a part of His bloodline. Since he never sinned, we don't have any iniquity anymore. God's mind is dope.

Dess and Jayda I think both of you ladies should surrender the area of your life when it comes to relationships. Stop settling when it comes to men. God has already written and assigned someone to you to be your partner. If yall keep settling for situationships yall will keep blocking the person who God sent for YOU 🙌🏾🫶🏾 yall both are worthy of the best and don’t have to settle especially for WORDLY men. Be patient and when you’re aligned with God and his will for your life you can trust him with every aspect of your life♥️

PERSPECTIVE IS EVERYTHING!!!!! To whoever is battling the condemnation of forgiving yourself, think about it like this >>>> (Your biggest enemy is your "inner me") If God forgives you, who are you to think that you cant forgive "you" 💖 Definitely gotta stop being so hard on ourselves 👏🏾👏🏾 good job girliess , may God continue to guide & bless you all & everyone watching rooting for you 🙏🏾

38:27 love what Dess said here admitting she’s doing worldly things and she knows they aren’t of God which shows she’s open to change and God’s CONVICTION GOD DOESNT CONDEM HE CONVICTS meaning he tells you where you are wrong so next time you can correct that behavior. Conviction is a huge sign that the Holy Spirit is within you.

I can relate to the spiritual journey. These religious folks be sending out the wrong messages at times like everything that has to do with being saved means you have to have no flaws when the Bible doesn’t support that ifykyk my mom always told me to read the Bible for myself and pray to the Father for understanding. ❤

Yes we must NOT judge BUT … you can judge rightly
“Do not judge by appearance [superficially and arrogantly], but judge fairly and righteously.””
    ‭‭John‬ ‭7‬:‭24‬ ‭AMP‬‬
Hopefully that clears it up cause it all lies on your heart posture and your intention especially if you have the Holy Spirit he will give you, a feeling of conviction that you did it in an unholy manner.

The custom of baptizing infants dates back to the origin of the Church. If we read the Bible carefully, we will see that adult baptism was the most common practice in the early Church.
But we will not find any text against infant baptism. On the contrary, there are indications where the practice of baptizing them is implicit.
In the letter to the Corinthians, the Apostle Paul says: "I also baptized the household of Stephana" (1 Cor 1:16). It is assumed that in a family there are children.
In the book of the Acts of the Apostles, Paul tells us how, in the city of Philippi, he baptized a lady called Lydia "with all her household" (Acts 16:15). And speaking of his jailer to Philip, he says: "he was baptized with all his household" (Acts 16:33).
