- Husain Haqqani is a Pakistani scholar and public figure who most recently served as Pakistan’s ambassador to the United States from 2008-2011. He is widely credited with managing a difficult partnership during a critical phase in the global war on terrorism.
Ambassador Haqqani’s latest book Magnificent Delusions: US, Pakistan and the Global Jihad which came out in November 2013 has been described as “timely, valuable and objective” by former Secretary of State Madeleine Albright. Haqqani’s 2005 book Pakistan Between Mosque and Military was acclaimed for explaining the roots of Pakistan’s foreign and domestic policies.
Haqqani started his public life as an Islamist student leader and has, over the years, emerged as a strong voice for democracy and civilian control of the military in Pakistan and an exponent of liberal values in the Muslim world. His distinguished career in government includes serving as an advisor to three Pakistani Prime ministers, including Benazir Bhutto, who described him as a loyal friend in her last book ‘Reconciliation.’ He also served as Pakistan’s Ambassador to Sri Lanka in 1992-93.
Ambassador Haqqani is currently Senior Fellow and Director for South and Central Asia at the Hudson Institute. Haqqani also co-edits the journal ‘Current Trends in Islamist Ideology’ published by Hudson Institute’s Center for Islam, Democracy and Future of the Muslim World.

So yes, there are many people who die hungry in India. But please note that this is not to do with the caste system; there are several Brahmins who are poor and starve as well. I am sure there are several Pakistanis who die of starvation, so this is not a problem only India has. So please keep to the subject being discussed. The best way forward will be for both countries to focus on its people and stop wasting valuable resources fighting each other. And for gods sake, give up your obsession with Kashmir. If you truly value peace in Kashmir, stop interfering there and peace will automatically come.

Pakistanisation of India ,The word does not match with India as the history, ,constitution, Institutional Freedom, parliamentary system and power distributions at the deferent stages are unmatched with India. Now first I will talk about history ,since partition India remained secular state and None of the institution can differentiate to deliver by religion,cast and creed ,as constitutional guidelines does not allow .where as Pakistan became a Islamic state and forced sharia Law even on non Muslims , School curriculum infected with religious hatred other then Islam caused radicalization of Pakistan .
Constitution of India is much stronger which distributed Powers to each and every pillars of Democracy to function without any influence of Politically empowered person or party to derail the democracy and preserve the right of citizen of India .like Judiciary,CAG ,election commission etc. and these institutions are core bodies to Preserve the national interest under the Umbrella of Constitution of India .
