@leafchill8821 that's a steal my biggest bargain I think is lego marvel 1,2 and avengers for £9,99 with all DLC Characters missons and its usally over £100
@@genericfootyfan I used to love buying the WWF / WWE DVDs but with the network they seem slightly less desirable now sadly. They really put some awesome little extras in with the DVDs
i build my movie collection by getting stuff in charity shops and flipping anything of value to cex for vouchers & getting something i want, i found my first 4ks last week, 25p each, one i traded as had it, the other i kept for collection. I also pick up games to flip to build my movie collection too.
That’s a really good way to build a movie collection, slowly seeing more 4K movies in charity shops and glad to see it as honestly I’m a resolution snob haha
I only ever saw 4K movies a few times and once there were 6 of um in a row quid each, I got the lot! And 3 of them were still sealed too, so that was a result. That was a year ago and hardly seen any since.
Wow nice finds. Some great Wii titles there and it's awesome to see a boxed N64 game. I've always liked Shadows of the Empire. It's a little inconsistent, but taking down the At-At's on the battle of Hoth level is awesome.
Yeah always good to find some nice Nintendo bits! I’m quite a big fan of Shadows of the Empire and agreed that Hoth level was amazing, best it had ever been at that point! I wouldn’t be surprised if it gets a rerelease soon as they seem to have done the other Star Wars games from around that time recently
simply put Metal gear soild 2 is a commen game so it's not that expensive, also dynasty warriors 6 is the black sheep off the dynasty warriors games, it was a step back but it played alright.a boxed n64 game is insane too find in a charity shop
The first time I’ve seen any N64 game in a charity shop I think, couldn’t believe it was boxed! Yeah I suppose commonness also does equate to cheapness’s as there is just so many copies. I’ll have to check our Dynasty warriors but I’m intrigued
I'm in Ireland and the charity shops here are getting quite overpriced. Also usually I'll tell them a case has no disc and it'll be back on the shelf again next time I'm in😂
It’s amazing how often that seems to happen you’d think they’d at least check the game was in there! Sadly it seems more charity shops are going that way unfortunately
Nice purchases there mate, those OG 360 consoles would have been worth a punt at a fiver each but not 10. Try to keep your eye out for the later jasper motherboard models as they don't get red ring errors very often.
I’ve been burnt a few times with consoles and tend not to pick them up unless they’re tested anymore especially as sending them is quite pricey. Thanks for the info I’ll keep an eye out for those models
Only seen a boxed N64 game in a charity shop one time and that was Zelda Majora's Mask. For a quid. I could not believe my luck but yes, that is probably never gona happen again! Never seen a single NES, SNES, Master System, Megadrive, Game Gear or Saturn game in a charity shop, ever (boxed or unboxed).
@@DanTheGamesMan Yep I couldn't believe it. Genuine too. I didn't even want to resell it just for my collection, it's the last Zelda game I needed for N64!
Geez to many mate, had a massive stack of decent ps1 games for a quid each, resident evil 2 Complete on ps1 for 50p. So many more, but a few vids back on my channel I got 76 games for 40 quid. About 25 ps3 games but the rest we're ps4 and ps5 and most sealed. I called it the epic find. Because I don't think I will ever top that. Current gen and most sealed for pence. Just crazy. But bring on next year for sure I'm pumped for it.🎮🕹👍
@@binbootsalepickin man sounds like you had some amazing deals this year, shows again charity shop hunting is alive and well! I’ll have to check out the videos they sound awesome!
Brilliant video made and my goodness what a treasure trove that charity shop was. I tried to go once a week on my lunch break because there are five shops near my office. Unfortunately all of them seem to be overpriced these days but I have had some bargains in the past. I've got a pickup video coming next Wednesday so we'll show a few off then. I did pick up a couple of Xbox original games for 30 pence each.
Sounds like a good deal I’ll have to check the video out! Yeah it’s good to go at least once a week to find the deals but unfortunately it does seem more and more shops are getting more expensive which is a real shame
Charity shop prices will end up crashing when they realise that people can't even afford to shop there anymore! Example it's hard to find any items of clothing for under a fiver now, even T-shirts, and that price you may as well be buying brand new from Primark. Same with games, why would I spend £10 on a game in charity shop when Cex sell it for 7. British Heart Foundation and Oxfam take the absolute mickey with their prices nowadays. Individual prices on everything even DVDs and CDs. Don't even bother looking now.
@@bretton_woods I think they will eventually outprice themselves, I think they always used to be a place you could get clothing DVDs etc cheap but now they more and more seem to be retail price sadly. I understand they’re trying to make a profit for charity but they need to be careful they don’t make themselves irrelevant
@@DanTheGamesMan I agree... thing is, they get everything for free so they'd be making a profit even if they sold things for 1 penny. I know, besides the running costs etc. Charity shops attract different kinds of people: 1. the resellers, 2. the collectors, 3. poor people who can't afford to buy new, 4. casual shoppers and 5. those who just want to feel good about giving to charity. (and a combination of all 5). But jack up the prices too high and you're going to lose out on number 1., 3., 4. and probably 2. as well.
