Honestly my first reaction to this whole 1st episode is that it's just pure psychological horror and Will probably stay that way
Ya know, I’ve watch a ton of dark and disturbing videos and games so they rarely effect me.
But I’m still surprised how uncomfortable I am with something that seem cute and innocent with something obviously eerie still gets me.
Currently my thoughts are that there's some Danganronpa bs going on, I find it interesting that Kaufmo the clown who's considered unfunny (bad trait for a clown) and openly obsessed with leaving kicks the bucket and shortly after Pomni turns up in jester/clown attire like a replacement.

Could be a coincidence, since there are 8 other characters that were crossed out, one of which was a Queen like chess-piece similar to Kinger
@@Zack_Zander you could be correct, I'll have to have a look at the other characters at some point to see how they effect my theory, but for now I'm gonna stick with my theory (I feel the details about Kaufmo made no sense being added if the character isn't gonna be a part of the show anymore, figure it's either a reason for why he died or that he's gonna be used posthumously to help Pomni) . Out of curiosity do you have any theories about what's going on ??
@@secretsecret3528 I think that the abstractions will eventually escape due to a glitch in the game which may be the only opportunity for Kaufmo’s (and everyone else’s) return. The game is so glitchy and unfinished that anything could happen…

Fun fact: The Amazing Digital Circus is actually inspired by something called "I Have No Mouth and I Must Scream", a story about a furious AI that tortures the last 5 humans alives for its own amusement, with Caine being that AI. However, Caine wants to help them stay sane instead of torture them, albeit doesn't understand the human mind that well

Nice! The Pilot is actually really great! Hope that the later episodes to The Amazing Digital Circus improves more and more and cant wait to see more of what Goose has in store.
I really hope they dont go the Murder Drones route and have some normal episodes too, i want to see the characters interact more

To be honest, Jax going to be my favorite character in this series his humor is hilarious

One thing that I cannot shake is around 14:40 after Pomni’s thousand yard stare she glances back right at the camera before looking back at Ragatha, and I was wondering if that means that Pomni can see things that the others can’t
One theory is their world is both a kid's show to another world while being a point and click adventure game world for kids. Jax may even have gained fourth wall awareness and able to see where the "camera" is, hence his (she still thinks this is a dream) to the camera confusing Ragatha. Koufmo seems like he went through those doors but maybe not into the void and lost it, and Pomni saw something that may have awoke her to the fourth wall as well. One question is, where are their bodies in the real world and are they actually the people or neural clones of them (copies that can only exist in the digital space (
This is just SMG4, another glitch series, if it was horror and more existential horror instead of eltrich horror all the time.

Kaufmo reminds me of Andy Kaufman and Franz Kafka.
Andy Kaufman was the Borat of his day, and would trick nightclubs into letting him on stage as a comedian but he would deliberately not be funny just to mess with people. So he was a comedian who wasn't funny.
