The 2018 Hoedown by Moonshine MFG

The 2018 Hoedown longboard is Moonshine’s dedicated dancing/freestyle board, designed and shaped for ultimate stability and step control. For 2018 we significantly increased durability, smoothed out the shape, and softened up the flex - time to get your dance moves on!
In addition to our bomber two-ply vertically laminated core, the 100% waterproof Hoedown is inlayed with two fiberglass stringers lengthwise along its midsection to give the board consistent flex, torsional stability and strength under foot as well as carbon fiber inlays in both the nose and tail to keep you popping higher than ever - important factors for a board of its length.
Simply put, for a board of its size (measuring 48” x 9.5”), the Hoedown is thinner, lighter and stronger than any other board on the market.

the nose and tail are slightly different.

Tail is 1" longer but if you use the longest wheelbase in back and the shortest in front, the platform and tail length feel symmetrical. That's how Brandon Desjarlais has been riding his the past year

@@selfactualizer2099 Yes, it offers more opportunity in riding ability by making some tricks easier on either the nose or tail. A shorter tail will give more pop but less control whereas a longer tail will give you less pop but more control.
