Awesome! It's a killer pedal. Make sure to try placing it before your dirt pedals! That was always my favorite place for it.
If you're on a budget, like myself...it sounds pretty damn good!
Useing it on pedal steel for certain swells and its nice!

Yeah it's a keeper! There are a few Behringer pedals that are part-for-part clones worth getting. I was inspired after JHS did their video on Behringer

Just got one for my birthday, it's great used it to record a overdub with bass vi same day and sounded great
Nice! I loved my bass vi when I had one! I highly recommend putting the phaser before an overdrive pedal. Sounds super gritty and thick!

Great video man! Pulling some tasty tones out of that thing. Had me a Small Stone but wasn't a huge fan of how it sounded with high gain. Use a Boss PH-2 now.
51 now. Hey dude don't stop doing videos. Musicians needs these kind of reviews, I'm looking for a funky pedal. In the past I used behringer, ultra distrotion one, and was a great pedal. But now I'm on groove music and need to know if Behringer is a good choice to buy a pedal from this brand.

These are now $50+ in only 2 years. I used to despise Behringer for their cheap PA's and I still do. I've seen TWO catch on fire !!! BUT ... the pedals are all clones and AMAZING for the deal !!!! Thanks man !!!!

I live in Europe malta but if you lived in the states shipping had gone extremely expensive to order from Europe
I had one of these. My only gripe with it was the slight loss of volume when it was engaged. Still a great pedal though.
Yeah when frequencies are cancelled out in phasing there is naturally a loss in volume. I don't think it's a problem but I can understand the gripe. Problem solved if they just put on a volume knob!

I've owned both and they were indistinguishable honestly. If you're dead set on getting an EHX phaser I would probably get the bad stone since it has some features the Behringer doesn't. Otherwise the VP-1 is the better buy. Still no issues after owning/gigging with it for over a year
I used to have that phaser it doesn't sound like an old seventies small stone phaser maybe the newer version I didn't like it cause it had such a large volume drop in it's sweep and it sounds more like a bandpass filter than a low pass filter like it should be but for the price it is pretty decent but I've owned an old school small stone phaser and nothing else is quite like it
That's interesting! I found it to be basically the same as the small stone. I have used a vintage small stone in the studio before and while it sounded great I'm not sure I'd spend the extra money for one! My favorite thing to do with phasers like this one is to put them before OD. Love that sound! And yeah I don't get why companies don't just stick a volume control on every pedal. Seems like they could certainly fit the components in there!
Phasers are bandcut filters (aka notch), not lowpass, not bandpass...
