Hey you guys, I have been missing you! I know you are waiting for the arrival of your new van to start the conversion but you are not the type to stay in bed all day because of the quarantine. I am sure you are doing something, taking still pictures, shooting videos, videoing each other, planning the layout of your new van, playing chess, etcetera. At least you probably have found some interesting place to walk the dogs. Perhaps you are exploring places to which you want to travel once you get your van all set to go. It may take some creativity to come up with something to put into your video when you are not traveling, but that is something at which you two are very talented. Don't go and hide! We love to hear from you guys and withdrawal is not what we are looking for!!
Do you think the Van is going to be to small for you guys and wheres the door to get in? I would be so lost you explained this were I could understandand I am not techy lol Big Big fan! Don't pay attention to HATERS ❤❤❤
I have a dodge b200. Was suspect that they don’t share their database prior to purchase. But seeing it in action, I’ll go with tape and a tape measure and cardboard
Don't fall for this unless you plan on spending a lot of time figuring out the software. It’s not as simple as they make it seem, there is quite a bit of learning curve. I ordered it tried it for about 30 minutes at the most and realize there was no way I was going to have time to build a 3-D model of my van as they don’t have any Chevys in there. Contacted the company for a refund and was told now. That was my biggest put off was they do not back their product at all. If you try it and realize that it’s a lot harder then all the ads make it seem to be basically too bad for you. PS, I'm pretty technical and good with a computer bit the time this would take to learn for one build isn't efficient, sticking with pencil and paper.
Oh really? I watched their basic tutorial on their TH-cam channel and figured it out in an hour or two. It was a bit of a learning curve for sure. But nothing that I didn't expect, because it is design software not the Sims.
You want a cookie? Good for you, but why must you brag just because others didn't find it so easy or want to waste time learning something that was suppose to save time? Does it make you feel more superior? If so, great enjoy the product, I think it sucked for what I needed. @@rozemarijnbalemans4561
@@dominicottaviano They do not offer a trial version for the exact reason you stated earlier, claiming their software to be so good, that you'd finish a van design in an hour and would not buy the software. A BS argument. Other software companies offer trial versions with reduced features or watermarks on printouts, so you get a feel for the way it operates. I have yet to find 10 people who actually use this. Instagram, YT and FB is full of ads and claims and "soon-too-be-added-features" with virtually no user feedback. Sketchup is professional software, free, has proper design features and vans, that you can download from the community and build up. You want to just get a feel of what you can fill a van with? Go ahead, pay your $ 37 and draw your dream Sesame-Street style. You want to design and build a van interior with proper measurements and really custom built furniture down to the hinges, handles, insulation, individual material thickness and parts lists? Well, then this ain't it.
When you were moving your mouse around you said right click for left to right and option right click for the other movement. What is option right click?
Was hoping for some help with this, but I don't have this version. I guess I have the newer beta version, which is completely different. I can't figure it out at all. Super bummed. Also, are you on a Mac? I don't have "option" (for click and drag) on my PC.

Nice program. But it would be a lot more useful and accurate if you couldn't put items through the walls, the ceiling, or the floor unless you wanted to do so.
This is true. I think this is just a general way to get a rough mockup. If you need more precision, it should also account for curvature of the walls of the vans, so that you really know what will fit.

Is this based on US vans only? Can't see options for UK vans, Renault Trafic/Vauxhall (Opel) Vivaro or Nissan Primastar

True! That would be nice if they would snap in place. That happens in sketchup too. Maybe they’ll fix that in the new version they are beta testing?
