    FIA is a joke. They always were and these comments by Ben Sulayem show that he is also a joke. He thinks that if he makes F1 a sterile product with no emotions then he will attract more people to it.
    Well, I believe he is 100% wrong. F1 racing is all about emotions and profanity has always been part of Formula 1.

      I guess Charles never heard of Alex Albon (current F1-driver), and past drivers Karthikeyan and Chandhok (just to name a few). I mean, it is a bit absurd and obviously a bias because he is a fan of Hamilton (as he clearly admits). Btw, there is nothing wrong with being a Hamilton fan, however please have your facts straight if you want to convince other people.

    How did rap get into formula one? If the drivers are cursing that much, then obviously they're cursing like F1 drivers.
    Compare them to the average european soccer player and soccer fan.
    Fi is a very snobby and elitist sport where the people associated with it go from an F1 race to watching a yacht race.
    But they want to blame black men for how "country club in Monaco" type people are talking over a radio.

      Your own words say other entertainment businesses, which would include comedians, actors, european soccer leagues.
      The drivers that he doesn't want cursing on the radio are likely doing it free of any blame that can be put on rap and rappers. They are to blame themselves.
      It's as blatant as any Karen or Ken who misplaces their phone and thinks the first black person they see must have stolen it.

    Been watching F-1 since 2003. Hamilton is tied with Schumacher for 7 championships. He's slightly ahead in most other stats. The difference is Schumacher is often mentioned as a great driver but Hamilton is often referenced as having the best car, best team, having more fuel, etc. Don't forget the racism he experienced in Spanish GP 2008.

    • @basdollevoet2824
      @basdollevoet2824 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It's clear you weren't watching F1 before 2003. Schumacher, back in 2003, already had driven some dominant (Ferrari) cars. However, he had to rebuild Ferrari from the ground-up as Ferrari weren't champions since 1979. When Schumacher joint (in 1996) it was the worst car in years (5th team on the grid), and he really made some incredible drives (Spain 1996 standing out the most). My point: Schumacher did not walk-in to a championship ready team and had to spent a lot of blood, sweat and tears (and had to overcome numerous disappointments) to become champion again. These are just facts. Just as it is a fact that is was a public secret that Mercedes had the best engine in the V6 Turbo Hybrid era which makes Hamiltons transfer to Mercedes by no means comparable to Schumachers 1996 Ferrari move. This is not hate to Hamilton but just to give some more historic background on why people are saying different things when it comes to the comparison of Schumacher vs Hamilton.

    • @samfisher2306
      @samfisher2306 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @basdollevoet2824 I already said since 2003...goodness me! McLaren had issues with the engines when Lewis got there. It further permeated since his departure. He did have a lot of input in Mercedes throughout. I've seen documentaries where the engineers and Toto talked about Lewis's recommendations. Let me track back to his early carting days when people will tell the organization they did not want a Black kid on the tracks -talk about overcoming staunch adversary on something he has no control over. I'm a huge Schumacher fan, but I can look at YOY historical data and draw clear inferences on their stats. Not everyone is illiterate. What Lewis represents scares some people, but he conquered it his own way. I hope it continues to eat away at those that hate him! Good Bye!!

    Charles, If you follow F1 that much you know several things about drivers such as Vettel and Hamilton:
    - they are absolutely WOKE. They're constantly raising issues about rac1sm and whatnot
    - Hamilton is not seen in a positive light by most current and past F1 drivers. It's not about talent, it's about the way he acted and the things he said or did
    And...once again, in the absence of Vettel, Lewis "Bubba Wallace" Hamilton is pushing his agenda.
    Rappers curse. A lot. It's a cultural thing. Eminem, The Beasty Boys, Kid Rock, - all white, and all curse their bottoms off.
    Nothing to do with race. But as usual, if it's not Tyreek, it's someone else making something about race.
    That said:
    I worked with racing teams. Sponsors HATE drivers cussing the whole time, especially when comms are public. Team owners sometimes tell drivers to cool it a bit, most often they don't.
    As for what you said about coming from money:
    some of the richest drivers around cuss a lot. Stroll, for example.
    Coming from money or otherwise does not make someone cuss less or more.

    Charles, I'm afraid you are wrong about it. Lewis has been getting a lot of flak with that statement. Ben Sulayman clamping down on swearing is absurd but there is nothing racist about his statement. Him making a comparison about rapper has nothing racist about because everyone knows rap music tends to use excessive swearing. There is no mention of blacks being specific. You are just triggered because Hamilton decided to make it offensive to black people and that isn't his context.
    With regards to his jewelry, Hamilton is the only F1 driver who wears jewelry while competing. Who are you to say its not a safety hazard when the cars alone are powered by an electric engine too, its true it can be a hazzard, Hamilton just decided to make it all about himself when he himself abided by that rule during the early part of his career.
    You can see from my post that I'm not a huge Hamilton fan.
    Hamilton is very much like Lebron who you criticize so much because they draw so much parallels except of the fact he is pushing this whole diversity agenda which is just part of his whole branding.
    You think its him being a trailblazer when the sport itself is trying to increase diversity more than him.
    F1 Academy is an example.
    F1 has also seen a lot of asians racing in the sport. Last I checked, they were all discriminated at some point but never made a huge fuss out of it like Hamilton.
