Well abridged series all started around 06 to 08. DBZA and Yugioh Abridged are the only abridged series left and DBZA is obviously much more successful. I grew up with DBZA, it started when I was 13 and now I'm 25 (25 today, I binge watch every episode of DBZA every year on my birthday) so I'm like the exact perfect age for DBZA because I had seen the Funimation dub a few years before on Toonami when it was in re-runs, then got DB and GT on DVD and watched those when I was like 11. So when DBZA 1 came out I was immediately hooked away because my little mind had never seen fan dubs and I was at the perfect point/age to get the jokes and innuendo.

Blaziken Well in DB Goku had no sense of manners, he would pull down his pants in front of strangers, walk around naked in public and scratch his balls, couldn't tell the difference between a guy and a girl without feeling their genitals and had no street smarts. He was also incredibly oblivious sometimes. So imagine if you know someone like that and they grew up to become a parent. It would be quite a shock.
The fact so many fans are or will come here shows just how special his story is. Even the Abridged version is a masterpiece and that’s a reflection on TFS but also a loving tribute. Rip Toriyama
Honestly heart broken that we won’t see buu abridged, this series is one of the reasons I’m still in love with dragon ball, some of my fondest memories are of waiting for the next episode and while it’s over, I’m glad I went on this journey from 2014 of me discovering this to now, I wouldn’t trade it for the world
I had hard once that they had plans to do Buu with split personalities or something similar. I wish they never stopped going.. I would love to see Whis and Beerus in this show lol. The tournament of power would be great to see, and with Goku black saga the confusion of Goku in that series alone would be comedy gold
I watched this the day it came out. My best friend at the time had stubbled upon it by total accident, and up until 2017, we had a watch party for every single episode. This is a series I grew up with, and it's death has left a void that will never be filled again. Thank you TFS, and thank you DBZA.

Anyone else re watching now that ep 60 has been dropped . I watched this show when i was 10 with a few of my friends and just spent hours quoting the fantastic lines. This series will always hold a VERY special place in my heart , so thank you so much TFS for a amazing time(even if season 4 does release).

I'm here after finding out Akira Toriyama passed. This series is the only thing that'll cheer me up as cheesy as it may sound, his death is truly heartbreaking.

I just heard Akira Toriyama has passed away at 68 years old. So I came back here to relive this series in his honor. Akira was one of *the* minds of all time in the anime and manga industry. I was 20 when I got into anime and I’m not ashamed it was DBZ Abridged by Team Four Star and the like that got me into it. Since then I read all of the Dragon Ball Manga and all the shows. From issue and episode 1 one of Dragon Ball to the final issue and series finale of Super. Thank Mr. Toriyama, my You, Bardock, Grandpa Gohan, all the Kai’s and Guru all drink tea and share tales in heaven. I won’t cry because Toriyama is dead, but instead I will simply smile because he lived. The best we can do for him is the same.
I love that there's still new comments and new people coming to this show along with older fans coming back, it warms my heart, and these guys deserve it.
At 4:57 we can see that Gohan used to have an adorable fear of the ocean, it's pretty crazy that he went from that to fighting _and_ becoming the strongest being on the planet within a few years

I clearly remember on my last day of School that my friend had been nagging constantly about "Have you seen "Dragonball Z Abridged yet??" At the last day of school i thought "Oh fine i guess i'll do it for my friend..." Me and him had the exact same sense of humor but honestly i had been bored by TH-cam voice over parodies at the time and wanted nothing to do with it anymore... Within 1 minute i was already laughing and then Piccolo and his "myspace" bits came up and later when i found the episodes with Nappa i was hooked.... I just heard Akira Toriyama has passed away at 68 years old. So I came back here to relive this series in his honor.
Akira was one of *the* minds of all time in the anime and manga industry. I was 20 when I got into anime and I’m not ashamed it was DBZ Abridged by Team Four Star and the like that got me into it. Since then I read all of the Dragon Ball Manga and all the shows. From issue and episode 1 one of Dragon Ball to the final issue and series finale of Super. Thank Mr. Toriyama, my You, Bardock, Grandpa Gohan, all the Kai’s and Guru all drink tea and share tales in heaven.
I won’t cry because Toriyama is dead, but instead I will simply smile because he lived. The best we can do for him is the same.
I love that there's still new comments and new people coming to this show along with older fans coming back, it warms my heart, and these guys deserve it.

At 4:57 we can see that Gohan used to have an adorable fear of the ocean, it's pretty crazy that he went from that to fighting _and_ becoming the strongest being on the planet within a few years
The ocean is fucking scary tho.
At a certain point the ocean is basically the only thing on Earth left that can kill him.
Ah the early days where they still had to rely on mics of less than steller quality. That got fixed up pretty quick though.

RIP Akira Toriyama - thank you for everything. There is no Anime boom without Son Goku. Had to come here to pay tribute because while I don't know if he ever saw or even knew about this, it's a testament to the love and reverence the fans have always had for his work. To borrow a phrase from somewhere, he made sure all of us were inspired to go out there and Eat. That. Horse.

MySpace started dying in 2008-2009, by 2013 it was already dead.

I clearly remember on my last day of School that my friend had been nagging constantly about "Have you seen "Dragonball Z Abridged yet??" At the last day of school i thought "Oh fine i guess i'll do it for my friend..."
Me and him had the exact same sense of humor but honestly i had been bored by TH-cam voice over parodies at the time and wanted nothing to do with it anymore... Within 1 minute i was already laughing and then Piccolo and his "myspace" bits came up and later when i found the episodes with Nappa i was hooked.... I took a break that same year (2010) and now i found out they never completed the whole "Z saga" :/ But damn i can still laugh at this ... And i still wish i could track down my old friend just to thank him for showing me this
