Anti lag Bypass valve.. . The anti-lag valve provides a means to maintain turbine speed, eliminate lag on gear changes & deceleration. This is achieved by allowing incoming charged fresh air from the turbo to be diverted safely into the exhaust manifold pre-turbo with the throttle at low opening angles to allow for safer spooling of the turbocharger, without the potentially damaging throttle based late combustion event style anti-lag that can induce high engine stresses and break connecting rods.
When the ALV valve is active, boost pressure is diverted around the engine (instead of going through it) into the exhaust manifold. Combined with fuel and ignition strategies (from the ECU), the turbo speed is maintained, and more importantly, a useable boost is ready for when the throttle is opened again.
that only applies when the throttle is closed. During a pass, his throttle will never be closed.
Probably be easier to add nitrous as an anti lag

Hagerty, fullboost and 4x4 24/7 for offroading are good too. Honorable mention to 44teeth for bikes is the BEST and most top gear like.

I've been following the progress with this car for quite some time, and every episode keeps me on the edge of my seat. I'm rooting for you to get the car sorted and break into the 8s. High five from Poland!
Traction control can mask a misfire, it sounds like spark plugs with too much gap.
It's not easy to tune that car, great job from the whole team 🙌
Traction control will be crystal clear in the logs if it is doing anything or not.
To make 1200hp out of any 4 banger without a CDI you're going to need a small plug gap that's for sure. And aggressive traction control pops aren't good for any high boost engine...always best to take the power out via boost first and try and get it close before implementing cuts.
Hopefully they can sort it, because it would be cool to see it run an 8 on no prep over there.
I'm confident the build so far would pay my mortgage off 😂 but don't ever give up Jaime hope your as positive off camera as your are on it, looking forward to the next one💪💪
