I just got the watercolour paper insert and quite enjoy it. It's definitely not watercolour paper, rather, water resistant paper. You can't do anything complex on it. It forces you to keep your painting simple and I've been using it for line and wash practice. It's exactly like painting on tomoe river paper, without the crimping/buckling. Very fun indeed if you embrace its limitations and let it do what it wants. You get nice inky drying effects which look great with pen work.
