IDF's Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari said, 'we identified in the past weeks attempts by Hamas to rehabilitate its military capabilities in Jabalia. We are operating there to eliminate those attempts."

Contemporary Muslim armies are pretty much incompetent when it comes to modern warfare. The U.S. neutralized the Iraq military in about a week. Israel blew up Egypt's air force in 67 before it got off the ground, partly because Nasser was stupid and telegraphed publicly that Egypt was about to launch an attack and had massed troops on Israel's border. Then there was no tactical communication between Egypt and the other attacking armies. Chaos and utter defeat ensued.
