- Scaling exists to put players on a level playing field with the enemies to retain some what of a challenge regardless of power creep, but there are some things you can use to mitigate this effect! Here I cover one of the items you can use to currently obtain over 20% total damage in scaled content along with upcoming items you can use to make that content much easier!

Did you test the scaled dmg in private queue with minimum item level setting? Would be interesting to see how much dmg bonus we gain in like mgr with full new gear, we'd be at like 93-95k and think min il is like 80k, so if its 1k per dmg % could get up to 15% from 1 piece of gear.
What is going on with Cryptic being bought again? Are the devs being let go or is the game going into maintenance mode?
From what I can gather 1 of 3 things can happen the game gets shut down, the game goes into maintenance mode or it gets sold to a bigger company. As half the staff are advertising themselves on LinkedIn I fear the worst case scenario.
It will probably go stale for awihle until picked up again by another company, they have to go from 2billion in debt to only 700millionby spring, that is NOT happening lol.
@kittywampusdrums4963 I would agree lol but as most companies are in the same boat as Embracer it would have to be sony or Microsoft and that definitely isn't going to happen lol

Regarding the Dragonbone Blades, you tested it in scaled content and it was the best artifact to use for DPS, even better than the Envenomed Journal.
In the test did you use the set of 3 journals or just the Envenomed? If so, do you think the test result would change in favor of the Envenomed using it in sets?
Blades would still outperform the storyteller set + envenomed. The set bonus doesn't provide much, just 2% to 3% more damage depending on class. The more hits the better

Unfortunately I don't have the Dragonbone Blades, and I use the Storyteller's set with my Warlock in scaled content, both AoE and ST.
So if I'm not mistaken, 12% damage from the Envenomed + 3% (at best) from the set, against 20% from the DB, I lose about 5-6% damage, right?
Ive cheesed blades to grinf my alts. Why not 😊

Are we getting this bonus dmg as ratings? So it helps healers too
it is a damage buff, and not benefit for healers
The next unaffected will be hunters. I ran with two hunters who could double the damage of my endgame wizard, Thaumaturge, in scaled contents. Rangers can run fast with high-damage encounters coupled with controlled effects. The mobs will never hit them, even away ahead of the tank. When I tried to throw the same time of our encounters with the rangers, I couldn't even hit the mobs, and the killed or damages went to the hunter. I tried to move forward in scaled contents as Thaumaturge, and I would will be killed by the mobs then.
Sounds like skill issue tbh
@ivan-c316 Yes. You are correct. Skilled rangers can do that, but not other classes with other experts or masters. Only two master rangers can out damage me double on the chart so far. The other master players with other classes can win over me just not a very big margin. Skill issues are the answer here to play as master rangers.
@@hoongcheng i disagree that other classes cannot output as much damage as rangers especially in scaled content, maybe you havent encounter one yet. One the other hand, you really do need to master your class in order to see big numbers and of course there are some classes that can benefit and pull more since they have agility and ability to do so, rangers, while others can sit tight and wait for tank, fighter or barbarian, but they can also, if played properly do twice as much damage as you. Lastly, you play wizard so you should be able to do damage problem lies either in your rotation or you dont pull ahead as much as others do. Anyways you need to adjust your rotation and estimate when is the right moment to cast what encounter, happy gaming, have fun 😊.
@ivan-c316 I disagree with you. I can out damage, double accumulated damages to the other competent MDWP rank expert players too. I will post it on the arc forum for you to judge that my playing is poor. Only two rangers can do that I encounter but not others. Thanks.

And bruh just imagine all DPS with high IL and decent stats having 20% more Damage.....nothing will stand a chance. There's only one boss (that I know of) that you really can't steamroll and that's Nostura of the Stone Eye in Master Spellplague Caverns, do too much damage and she one-shots your party.
These are *SO* getting nerfed.....I mean they're just too strong...
